Well look, obviously you have some concerns about your relationship or you would not be asking for advice on a forum. And yes, forgetting your g/f's bday is pretty up there in the uncaring range. 6 times out of 7 cmone. You say you've known this guy for seven years. In seven years time, I can train a chimp to remember your birthdays, anniversary days and more. I don't know your age nor your b/fs but if you say you have been with him for such a long time, you would have figured that the stuff like that would have been ironed out by now. I dont let anyone speak to me like your b/f speaks to you over the phone. It is a matter people respecting you. Being stressed in school or work is absolutely no excuse for treating your special someone like dirt. If you believe it is, then you need to take a step back and re-evaluate your own self esteem and self worth. I happen to suck at relationships, but even I don't pull uncaring stuff like that on people I date.
