Would you ever date a Turk?

Was debating where to ask this, but I suppose since it relates to dating, I'd drop it here... if this is the wrong forum, I apologize and you can move it.

I for one never would, however my aunt did and now I've got half Armenian half Turkish cousins. it really depends on the person I guess. The thing is he's not a Turk in the traditional sense... his family's been in Iran for generations, to the point where he doesn't even have a Turkish lastname anymore, he's got a very Persian lastname, and he considers himself Persian before anything else. The only thing "Turkish" about him is that he can speak it (somewhat), but he rarely does cause he doesn't know any other Turks, so he usually speaks Farsi or his really funny version of Armenian. As you can tell this is much different than dating someone who goes around on messageboards calling himself "ILoveAtaTurk".. just for example, lol.

Marry..... depends on the Turkish family and how they've brought up their daughter. If both mine and her family agrees that there was a Genocide and that they do accept that it happened and yada yada yada..... then probably yea.
