love is a nice word we use to describe tears, disappointment, and a sharp bitter pain which becomes somewhat dull over time and turns into apathy and sometimes is manifested as anger and depression...that is "love"

"Love is nothing; it's a connection, which makes it meaningful..." from movie Matrix... I'm not sure if these were exact words... this discussion can go over and over, each of us has his/her own definition of love... I gave this question to my best friend, who is going to get married, and she is maaaaaaaaaaaaaaadly in love... "oooooooooo, it's too hard to define...love is a happiness", this is what she answered... exactly, it's a happiness, you can not define it, you just feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel it...

just crosscutting in the conversation to make people understand: the author of this thread asks what does love mean to you, i didnt read anything about defining love. So people reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad damit before "defining " anything. Jesus!

                Aye it's a hard question...

I fall too easily in love in order to answer it...

Anyway, I'll skip the oh-so-cliché romantic stuff; love is to admire someone for the combination of her different aspects and take the time to appreciate it : love takes time..according to me Love At First Sight is just a cinematic way to see life.

Like most of people do, I have some standards (the other person's physical characteristics, way to behave, etc,...) but I usually end up loving girls which don't fall in those standards.... I think you fall in love with someone for the whole "package" not just the positive stuff, else it won't work.

Again, it's one damn of a question! No one could answer it and my reply is probably bullsh!t because everyone has different ways to tell what's love.

But my point is that love is some kind of recipe, if you want to add your own stuff to it, everything changes!

All i know is that this is an exausted topic.. and to define it you would have to first feel it.. thats all... explaning it is just... impossible cause youll never get all of it with words... words are cheap..
How do you hurt a masochist?

Accepting the other persons flaws and seeing them as beautiful. Finding a sanctuary in each others arms. Forgiveness.
