LOL. That must have meant I was pretty high up there to have gone down. I used to date a girl who dormed at SDSU and I would drive every weekend. Argh...it's just too much driving, EVEN if I'm into cars. (I like to modify/race them, not commute in traffic with em). I guess I would drive if it was someone i was totally into and if she made the effort to drive and take me out as well. But just for dates, 30 min!

Well. I don't think I'd break up with him if it's less than 20. More than that, I'd have to either REALLY BE INTO HIM, which is almost impossible for me, or I'd just it off. That's just gross.

I don't really have rules. Anything boring needs to stay away. That's all.

For instance, if on the way back all I can think about is how the waiter forgot that I didn't want pieces of chicken in my ceasar salad and how I might have accidentally had a piece of meat in my mouth (haha, i'm just killer that's all), then chances are the guy would get my "you were right dude, one date with you wouldn't kill me!" line.

By the looks of the romance section I'm going to go ahead and guess that so far these rules and regulations for dating have not been working... Some of the rules so far have been pretty ridiculous (guys pay for everything all the time? don't date a girl who's been raped? Please!). I don't really have any rules. I just go with the flow and be myself from the get go and hope that the guy I am with has been himself from the beginning so that a few months into the relationship when our guards are down we don't find ourselves dating people who are different than they were in beginning. That said, a lot of these rules are also pretty common sense things (smell good? Yeah sorry I thought smelling like fertilizer for a date was a good thing! Thanks for the clarification.) So just ask out people who make you laugh and can hold a conversation with you and who attract your attention for more reasons that their looks or their rack or their package. You know... beauty fades but dumb is forever.
