About the topic of this thread. I want to say, that I'm all about marrying an Armenian girl for her money and looks. That is all I want out of life. So pretty much what I mean by this post. Is I want to offer myself to any Armenian girl that has a lot of money, in fact looks don't really matter. I just want a lot of money.

Ummm...hello, please don't stress on this "going to Armenia to find a girl issue". I hope I don't sound stupid, but since I'm a barskahye, I really don't think I'd connect with the other Armenians (hayastansi, or Arevmtahye). I mean that's just my preference (although I might not be in a position to be picky about the type of the Armenian girl I'd go out with, but I think there are major differences in everything we do). Now if I could go back to Iran (yeah right), and find a Barskahye girl there (in Ararat Miyutyun), then maybe I would do that.

I also have to add that, due to less than average living conditions in both Armenia and Iran, I wouldn't blame our Armenian girls over there, if they tried to find a better life for themselves by marrying a guy who'd take them back to U.S. I'm not saying that's the right thing to do, but it's easy to talk smack about them when we have our warm water and electricity 24 hours a day, and we can have in-n-out burger, and go shopping in Glendale Galleria (for you girls, I hate going there). And yes, that is the truth, but certainly not in everyone's case!

But you can not say that everyone in Armenia is like that. I know many-many girls who rejected American guys because they didn’t love them, and they didn’t want to connect their whole life with the guys who thought that if they are Americans, any Armenian girl will be more than happy to get married with them … Where are the respect, love etc? I really hate when people think that everything in this world is related with money. Money is just a piece of paper (really powerful but piece of paper…), today you have it, but tomorrow you can wake up with nothing. So please, don’t say that money (or green card or whatever) can buy love… I believe that this is impossible…

I never said everyone in Armenia wants to come here, but I truely believe that if he meets someone there through a short period of time it won't be because of true love, but a green card! Choke me if you wish, but truth hurts sometimes...

After reading Anonymouse's post, I'm getting ready to go to a FETISH store or something to buy a whip , but hold on, I was raised learning that you should NEVER hit (or Whip) a lady. I don't know if I wanna change my approach on that.

But jokes aside, I agree with CatWoman that I need to be more aggressive (and trust me CatWoman, I know how to approach women [via eye contact, smile, etc.], but I want to know where I should go to find a nice, sweet, cool and down to earth Armenian girl to be able to have eye contact, to begin with. This last sentence just felt so weird when I was writing it considering I live in Glendale and it's filled with Armenians, but hey I don't like to drive on Glenoaks and try to talk to girls who are cruising on Glenoaks (I'm not 17 anymore). And is it me or there aren't any Armenian dances and stuff going on anymore? (ahh shoot, they're usually filled with youngsters too anyways, even if it's 21 and over. You all know how easy it is to fake being 21!)

Violette jan, I feel you. I was in no way trying to bash ALL ARMENIAN WOMEN. I said most of them (70 percent would define "most of them"). And plus, I'm sure gold-digger women do exist in every nationality, however since I'm an Armenian man, I have the one option of marrying an Armenian woman, therefore I didn't include all the women from other nationalities in my comments, and that's why they were pointed towards Armenian women.

Now don't get me wrong, at 25 I do have a beautiful female friend (with benefits) who is Hawaiian. I don't call her my girlfriend because she's not. She doesn't call to ask me where I'm at or what I'm doing, rather if I can make it to her house to watch a movie, drink some wine or Congac and talk and ****. Now I'm not the type that'll have 2-3 girls at once, but I can't stay without the presence of a woman in my life either, and the last part is true for any straight man. That said, she also knows that there's no future for me and her (meaning I'm not going to marry her or anything) and I've told her that the first second I find the Armenian girl that I think she could be the one, our benefits plan would end and we'd just become friends, period! And she's ok with that.

And I think it's too early for me to get married now, but I'd like to meet the girl I'd like to marry right now so maybe in 3-4 years we can get married and still be under 30 when that happens!

I don't know about attending University parties because I really can't connect with 18-19 year olds and believe you me, MOST of the 21-22 year-olds either are involved with someone or they still want to party since they just turned 21.

Going back to Armenia is what my mom says, but I seriously doubt there's a 1% chance I'll do that. It just won't happen. The worst thing I fear is for my mom or an aunt or some family member to try to hook me up with a girl they know and think would be a fine mate for me

He told everyone I was a gold digger, and I was after his money… I was like WHAT MONEY? lolllll So don't believe guys when they say we're after their money, find out on your own

You said you don’t really approach girls and are shy…. Listen, you can't just sit there and wait for the perfect girl to come around and approach you herself! Next time try making the first move, start with an eye contact, then a smile, and wait a little before approching her… You said you aren't bad lookin, so there shouldn't be a problem. Trust me, there are many nice, pretty, intelligent Armenian girls out there who aren't after the guy's money.
