I've been in Armenia for 2 years. It's very sad that the dating scene in our country is similar to what I've seen in Muslim countries. No, I'm not talking about 1 night stands or getting drunk on the 1st night...people I'm talking about taking a cup of coffee in a mall or northern avenue with a girl to get to know her. Almost every girl will say no because her parents won't let her take a freaking coffee with a man in the middle of the city in front to 20-30 people inside a crowded coffeeshop. How can women get to know men and have some experience to choose the guy they think is appropriate if they can't date? How is it possible to have such a system in 2017?

obviousely thats not true because city center crawls with couples in the evenings so your assumption is false. either you are going about it the wrong way or just having really bad luck. and if she says no to meeting outside obviousely you dont want to be involved with that family anyway cuz they sound like cavemen. having said that logic and armenians can be funny sometimes. some dad i know didnt approve that his girl would go out after 10 pm oclock but its totally fine that she lives all alone in yerevan in one of his flats while he lives in russia.
while the dating scene in armenia is not easy its a thousand times easier than any muslim country and thar says something about muslim countries.
