  • Somebody Give Me Some Adivce..

Ok. I met this girl about 3 years ago through my ex-girlfriend. She's not the type of girl I would ever think about dating. She has always been a GOOD friend, but I just never looked at her as a girlfriend. I tell her everything and recently we've been talking a lot. I never see her in person though but I saw her on Friday- at a party. I don't know how or why, but she seemed different to me. In a way, I felt like I was crushing on her. Now, no matter what I say to her, she'll take it as a joke (if I say she's cute or a compliment). I was confused all day Friday and left the party early. I don't know what to do now. I got all these feelings and I don't know what to do with them. If I tell her, it'll take like 30 minutes for her to believe me, 'cause she'll think I'm joking around. When it breaks in, she'll probably won't want to act on it so we won't ruin our friendship. I honestly don't wanna mess up the friendship, so what should I do? Keep it in and wait for it to be over- somehow? Or just tell her?

Tell her you're going to have an elevator in your new house. She might like that.

Maybe you see her "differently" because you're no longer with your ex. Maybe you should let some time pass before you realize you're ruining a friendship over a possible rebound issue.

No, me and my ex broke up a year ago. I think I'm having these feelings because we've been talking online and on the phone a lot recently, and seeing her again- it just made me start liking her.

              Here's my 2 kopeks:

I say, don't tell her. Let it happen naturally. If it's really bothering you, then casually mention taking her out. Her thinking that you're always joking could be one of 2 things.
              1) She likes you, and is just shy..so she doesn't want to admit it to you.
              2) She doesn't see you that way, so she "thinks" you're joking and laughs just to get off the subject cause you're making her so damned uncomforable.

No matter what you do, do not put her in a tough spot. Give her time and let her breathe. Be smart, charming, and as always USE A RUBBER!

              Oh wait...that's later...whatever!

                Lol @ the rubber.

I think she just likes me as a friend 'cause we are really good friends. I don't know though, I've been dropping hints but nothing obvious and she's just been ignoring them. Like if I was to say, "You were the cutest girl at the party" she might say something like, "Yeah, if all the girls left and I was the only one left." Lol. I guess she just thinks of me as that good guy friend, which is fine, I guess.
