What about "La Boheme"?

"Bon anniversaire" (Music) (Lyrics) may not have the magic of "La boheme" (Music) (Lyrics) or "Hier encore" (Music) (Lyrics); but, it's a beautiful love song - not my favorite. My favorite love songs of Aznavour - and probably among the top 10 love songs/poems I've ever heard - are "Qui?" (Music) (Lyrics) and "Parce que" (Music) (Lyrics).

Oh, and "Pour toi Arménie"!

I don't like the song, at all. As an Armenian, I am far more deeply moved by "La mamma" (Music) (Lyrics)

I find both the text and the music plain. They could have done much better. I wish that it had the magic and poetry of some of his best songs. It's more of a disappointment.
