Armenians need to marry` our own kind if we wish to survive as a distinct people this multicutural society. But in reality alot of us are going to intermarry with others,anyway. Armenians could win up just being another ethnic group consumed by the great American melting pot. Many of the non-Amenian spouses of mixed marriages do try and maintain our customs,language,history..etc but what about the future generations,as a result of this? And one more thing,there many of our younger people who just don't care.

Ah nonsense. There is nothing we should fear about. As long as there is an Armenian nation-state, there will be Armenians, with or without intermarrying.

Plus I don't see much intermarrying within our diaspora either, at least as far as I'm aware.

I'm Armenian, and I want to marry an Armenian. Except I would like to have atleast one mexican g/f before I get married.

So my question is, if you know you're not going to marry the girl. Is it wrong to be in a relationship w/ her?

Not every girl is after a family. You nevr know to whome you wll marry. We don' know what the day of tomorrow will bring, but if you know that you want an Armenian girl then you shouldn't hurt the Mexican.I mean obviously when we meet someone we don't think that we should marry each other. it's just something that we all have experianced. In an Armenian case we normally go out in order to mary the person if we get on well, things are fine etc. Mexicans for example are not so often keen on having a proper family, so to date the girl knowing you won't marry her for sure sounds saddistic but if you say oh well let see how things go then that's different. But a question arises, why specifically mexican? AMOR A LA MEXICANA?
Being a man you can never experiance the feeling, we, women have, for a women to handle a break up can be very painful, regardless of her nationality. Try not to play, you can have your good time with other girls, you don't necesarily need to be in a relationship.
