Don't take it personally, as he's simply being who he is: a redneck bully. Also, don't think that he's a more valuable Armenian only because he has a bigmouth and he's somehow familiar with the Armenian language and culture - of course, he thinks otherwise, only because he's an illiterate rabiz with low standards.

In any case, keep in mind that the contribution of redneck bullies, like Armenian, to a Nation - the Armenian Nation, in this case - may prove to be as disastrous as the contribution of another redneck bully - called Bush - to the well being of the American Nation - of course, he's just a loser version of Bush with somehow insignificant influence on the course of events. As a matter of fact, your contribution - even if modest - may end up being far more positive, preferable and valuable than his. Many Armenians who do not speak Armenian have positively contributed - and do contribute - to the Armenian Nation.

It has to be one of five Apostolic churches in NYC, unless our NightOwl is a Catholic or a Protestant. And I know all the priests in New York, they are all businessmen, expect for the young one in St. Sarkis, Douglaston. And there does exists various levels of prejudice against Hayastantsis amongst all of them.

I'm sorry but you are being very rude to me. I can tell you I dont like meeting people through organizations I told you its very clicky and everyone knows everyone and their entire family. I come in as an outsider to a group of 30 who have known each other for 20 years. I tried it -was given the cold shoulder. That goes for any ethnic organization, I have Greek and Polish friends who feel the same way about their organizations.
I tried the nearby church, on a full day theres about 5 people who attend. Only time I've seen more than that is Easter where its mobbed.

I felt let down by Glendale because I always felt Armenians are warm friendly people and it was a let down to discover alot of them are not friendly to their fellow Armenian.

The priest at my church here agreed with me btw, he told me the armenians from the soviet union have a bad repuatation.. Again I mean no offense to anyone. Just repeating what he said.
