I don't thing the universe has a center. Its built like a spider web as it increase in size but held together by gravity and black matter. at the big bang the center is everywhere.

Life (microbial or organic) may be find in the "Goldy Zone". Not too far from the sun and not too close with stable orbit.
You are right, but the Goldilock Zone depends on size and heat of the Star.
