Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

This is a xxxxing miracle. Every time it looks like they're surely done for, then they come back, every time in a more shocking fashion. I just feel sorry for Croatian fans. Sorry, but those xxxxers are too lucky. Please don't say they work so hard and they deserve it. They got lucky! By the way, the ref added too much extra time so...

Well I'm not a big fan of croatia, neither the country nor the their teams, but wtf I really wanted them to defeat turgay.
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

          Can Turkey do it again?
Turkey's run to the semi-finals of UEFA EURO 2008™ has been sensational but can they keep it going against Germany in Basel next Wednesday?

          Late goals
When Portugal beat Turkey in their opening Group A game there was no indication of the incredible theatre that was to follow. First Fatih Terim's side stunned co-hosts Switzerland in their own backyard, fighting back from a goal down to clinch victory in the last minute thanks to Arda Turan's powerful strike. Even more drama came against the Czech Republic when the Crescent Stars (Ay Yıldızlılar) overturned a 2-0 deficit in the final 15 minutes to win 3-2 with two late Nihat Kahveci goals.

          Crowning glory
Then the crowning glory against Croatia – Semih Şentürk driving in via a deflection in the last second of extra time to force a penalties. It was Turkey's first shoot-out at a major tournament but they looked like old hands as Arda, Semih and Hamit Altıntop scored before Rüştü Reçber saved from Mladen Petrić to spark the celebrations. Having got this far, Turkey now face the might of Germany with Emre Aşık, Tuncay Şanlı, Volkan Demirel and Arda all suspended in addition to injuries to Emre Güngör, Servet Çetin, Emre Belözoğlu and Tümer Metin. Terim said in his post-match news conference there should be no limits to his team's success, but can they overcome Germany to reach the final? Click below to let us know your thoughts.

First part of the match, There was obstruction for Tuncay Şanlı . It was a penalty. Also arbitrator gave a lot of unnecessary yellow cards. Such as Tuncay did nothing! Of course we had already known arbitrator's mother was Croatian.

It was a kind of poetic justice.

However we can't play with our best footballers (Tuncay Şanlı,Arda Turan, Emre Belözoğlu...) due wth yellow cards Germens are lucky.

You don't have "best footballers", none of them is an outstanding talent. In fact, all your players are average. What you have though is a good compact team and luck, lots and lots of luck.

This result didn't depend on turds at all. Croatia really should have done better. When you miss the net so many times, this is what happens. I feel bad for Croatian fans where the superior team (possibly one of the best in the tournament) couldn't come up with the goods.

I also think that a whole lot of pressure has been taken off Germany now. No doubt the other half of the draw is now much stronger and Spain vs Italy should be a very tense and exhausting match -- Russia due to their speed and physical fitness will push the Dutch and the semis on the other side has all the makings of the classic clash of giants.

Who remembers the Italy vs Holland match of Euro 2000? In that match the Italians had Totti suspended for a spitting incident in the quaters, they lost a player to a red card midway though the first half, then went on to hold on for 90 more minutes with 10 men, Toldo(replacement of the broken armed Buffon) blocking two penalties in open play, and then going on to block a couple more in the shootout.

Russia just put their third goal and the deal is sealed.

I must say that I am extremely surprised and this victory is very well deserved.

More of my opinion on the game later.

                    Russia-Netherlands: 3-1 Russia won/dominated.

Russia had countless opportunities to score. Netherlands had 1 or 2. I was amazed that this game went to extra time but Russia finally converted their countless chances and took the deserved win. I guess I didn't go too far .
