Bursaspor football fans will sing Armenian “Sari Gelin” song popular in Turkey during the Armenia-Turkey football match as a message of peace, NEWS.am correspondent informs.
October 12, 2009 Armenian national football team was warmly met by Turkish fans with flowers in Bursa. Oct. 13, the match between the youth national teams will take place. On October 14, 2009 Armenia-Turkey match will be held. RA President Serzh Sargsyan promised to attend the match and support Armenian team.

One would wonder why Turkey and Armenia are having this game, and the one last year, in the first place. Why were the two placed in the same World Cup qualifying division? Remember that it was the 2008 game that set the stage for the negociations. Things are fishy if you ask me.Comment
