1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    iversonmania

just because the Cavs beat the Lakers one day doesn't prove anything. A lot of good teams have there off nights.

The Cavs rely on Lebron a lot, where as Boston has Garnett, Allen, Pierce the big 3 which are not past there prime.

L.A. Clippers announcer pleads not guilty to theft charge

SANTA ANA - Los Angeles Clippers announcer Mike Smith pleaded not guilty on Thursday to charges of stealing $735,000 from a longtime friend in a failed development deal.
Smith, 44, and his business partner, Bruce Howard Furst, 57, of Laguna Hills, were charged Dec. 21 with felony grand theft and face up to five years in prison if convicted, according to the prosecution.

They face sentencing enhancements and allegations of a loss of more than $100,000 and property damage of more than $200,000, said Deputy District Attorney George McFetridge.

Orange County Superior Court Erick L. Larsh set bail at $25,000 and agreed to let Smith travel with the Clippers out of state, ruling that he's not a flight risk, the prosecutor said.

"There's always a concern about celebrity justice," McFetridge said. "But this gives him an opportunity to keep earning money in the hopes he can ultimately make restitution to the victim."

Smith is due back in court on Feb. 5 for a hearing that will feature his friend testifying about the failed business deal. McFetridge said he wants the testimony on the record in case the man, who has an inoperable brain tumor, dies or is incapacitated before the defendants' trial.

Furst, who pleaded not guilty on Monday, is due back on court on Feb. 3. His bail was also set at $25,000.

The charges stem from a development deal in Dana Point. Smith is accused of "repeatedly soliciting" his friend, a retired school teacher, to put up his Dana Point home as

collateral for a $735,000 loan so Smith and Furst could develop the property, said district attorney's spokeswoman Farrah Emami.
Smith and Furst are accused of assuring the victim that he would be the sole recipient of a promissory note; that the loan was safe and guaranteed; that it would be repaid within two months; and that Smith and Furst would sell their own homes before letting their investor lose his, Emami said.

The housing market collapsed, though, and Smith and Furst could not immediately pay back the loan, said Smith's attorney, Dyke Huish.

The victim may lose his home because Smith and Furst have failed to honor an agreement to pay a monthly $7,200 mortgage, Emami said. An escrow account was established for six months to pay the monthly mortgage, but no payments were made after October 2008, she said.

Huish lashed out at prosecutors, insisting that Smith and Furst are trying to pay back the loan.

"They've been trying to work to pay this guy back for the past year," Huish said. "I don't know when the D.A. decided to open debtors' prison, but obviously they've decided to do it again."

Huish said he believes the victim went to prosecutors last July because he was worried Smith and Hurst would declare bankruptcy and he would not get his money back.

Smith "borrowed money and he's trying to pay it back. He's just not done and we're working on it," Huish said. "We cannot wait for our day in court on this."

Huish said the property was once considered lucrative, affording "some of the last blue-water views in Orange County." But just as work on building homes and commercial property on the lots was about to start, the housing market collapsed in August 2008, the attorney said.

Smith and the alleged victim surf and golf together and have known each other for about 10 years, Huish said.

The men are still on speaking terms, McFetridge said.

        NBA player's embarrassing mistake

After all, Tyreke Evans has enjoyed a heck of a rookie year. He's averaging over 20 points per game, hitting from all over the court, and it was his clutch jumper that eventually won the game for his Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.

But, still, you have to make sure the hot-shot guard's shots go in the hoop, instead of just brushing against the net, before taking the ball out of bounds.

Now, the Kings broadcasters even mentioned Denver's inability to stop Evans before he launched the shot, but if septuagenarian color man Jerry Reynolds can see that the shot is a "heat check" even before it falls short, what excuse does J.R. have?

Lebron James will win the MVP. Kobe did well to make it easy for Bron.
Kobe's low assist numbers, and alot of shots.. show alot of selfishness..

Anyway, Boston are really struggling now. If they dont win this year, or reach at least the final.. they will blow up their team next year. its very old team, and one not going anywhere.
