- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Re: Ex-boxing champion Forrest killed in Ga.

Since we (the public) aren't given all the facts we just hear enough 4th party information to speculate. I doubt it was suicide. Probably something kinky.

Canada wants Brazil to explain findings in Gatti death
Foreign ministers joins family, friends of boxer in seeking more information

Canada's Foreign Affairs minister has added his voice to that of the family of former boxing champion Arturo Gatti in seeking details about the Montrealer's death in Brazil.

Lawrence Cannon asked officials in his department on Friday to formally seek more information from Brazilian authorities, who ruled on Thursday that Gatti's death on July 11 was suicide.

"Consular assistance continues to be delivered to family members. Our thoughts are with Mr. Gatti's family during these difficult times," Cannon said.

Friends and family of Gatti refuse to believe he committed suicide.

His brother, Joe Gatti, said Thursday the family will ask to have the boxer's remains exhumed so a Quebec coroner can perform another autopsy.

On Friday, Brazilian police released more information to support their claim that Gatti killed himself.

Police said the boxer hanged himself at a resort in northeastern Brazil with a bag strap that he tied around a wooden staircase column more than two metres off the ground.

Police first thought Gatti, whose adopted hometown was Montreal, was strangled by his wife because his body was found on the floor, according to police spokeswoman Milena Saraiva.

    Markings on staircase
But an autopsy report indicated Gatti was suspended off the ground for some three hours. A crime scene analysis found markings on the staircase column, she said.

Gatti's body was found in the hotel room in Porto de Galinhas. His widow, Amanda Rodrigues, 23, was detained for nearly three weeks on suspicion of murder.

But on Thursday, state court Judge Ildete Verissimo de Lima in the city of Recife ordered that Rodrigues be released immediately.

"The victim… committed suicide by hanging," Lima's ruling read, referring to the findings of a police investigation.

Joe Gatti said he's stunned that his brother's widow has been exonerated.

"It's a Third World country. It is hard — they got their own rules. We can't take her into our country — into Canada —and indict her there, or try her there. But come on!" he said.

    'Lengthy process'

Gatti family friend Ivano Scarpa said the release of Gatti's widow will impede the effort to bring Gatti's son, 10-month-old Arturo Jr., back to Canada.

"It's going to be a lengthy process. Obviously the fact that she's out, walking, doesn't help the family here," he said.

Scarpa said he hoped the results of a Canadian autopsy would support the Gatti family's claim for custody of the boy.

Former boxing champion Otis Grant said he doesn't have much faith in the results of the investigation in Brazil.

"I can tell you for a fact that the Arturo that everybody knew was a guy that loved his friends, loved his family, loved being who he was. So, for him to commit suicide just doesn't make sense," Grant said.

Grant says nobody he's spoken to in the boxing world believes Gatti killed himself.

"He was someone who brought a great credibility to this city. And as far as I'm concerned, his legacy as a boxer is cemented in history as one of the greatest, one of the most exciting fighters that ever put on a pair of boxing gloves."

I am now more suspicious of that 23 yearold bimbo. She either did it or knows who did kill him.

        Irish Olympic boxer found dead

Seems to be a reoccuring theme....

        Irish Olympic boxer found dead

Darren Sutherland, who won an Olympic bronze medal in boxing for Ireland at last year's Beijing Games, has been found dead at his home, manager Frank Maloney said. He was 27.

Sutherland was found hanged at his home in London on Monday by Maloney, who was taken to the hospital suffering from shock. Tests revealed that the 55-year-old manager had a heart attack.

Sutherland, an Irishman who was unbeaten in his first four professional fights, was due to appear with Maloney at a news conference on Tuesday to talk about his next fight, which had been scheduled for Oct. 16.

Olympic middleweight champion James DeGale, the man who beat Sutherland in Beijing, paid tribute to his former rival.

"He had an Olympic bronze medal and his whole life to look forward to," the Englishman said. "He had a great future and my heart goes out to everyone who knew him."

        'Absolute tragedy'
Former world featherweight champion Barry McGuigan, who was born in Ireland, said Sutherland had the ability to win a world title.

"I am deeply shocked and deeply saddened by this news and my heart goes out to Darren's family," McGuigan said Tuesday. "It is an absolute tragedy. I would describe Darren as a phenomenal talent.

"He represented his country with pride as an amateur and I believe he would have become a world champion in the professional ranks one day."

Maloney, a former manager of world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis, remained in the hospital but doctors were allowing him to work on his laptop. He is expected to remain there for a few days.
