    Yeah it seems complicated. From what I understand, there are two bronze medal matches. The losers of the semifinals are automatically in each match, while the athletes who have lost to each finalists in the previous rounds wrestle each other and the winner of each is put in one of the two bronze matches.

    The Iranian wrestler have won his semi-final match and is in the final now, so the Armenian wrestler can compete for the bronze medal. You can watch all the games, wrestling and others, at this website:

    No with Irani-Armenians there is just about 0 assimilation, and everyone has distinct Armenian names, for examples the defensive midfielder on the national team is named Andranik. Ironically though, many of our last names were often changed centuries ago with the ian/yan dropped.

    I know, it's just that sometimes it turns out that someone's mom or dad, or maybe a grandparent were Armenian. Also, there have been a few Amenians who've played for Iran's national soccer team over the past decade, so it didn't seem impossible that their could be some on their olympic team.

    Anyways, have you noticed any Armenian's on other countries teams? I know Russia has some, Uruguay also had one who was at least half Armenian (last name is "Melconian-Alvez")
