OK... so not too many hockey enthusiasts here, it seems...

Anyhow - someone on another board said that NHL is becoming like NBA or NFL or MLB with its scandals of abuse, murder, rape, etc. Guess what - St. Louis Blues forward Mike Danton (Jefferson) was arrested by the FBI for attempting to hire a hitman to kill someone.

I feel for the guy. Apparently, he either has problems with alcohol, or is gay. Whichever the case may be, I think this was a blackmail situation. Not that it makes his solution right in any way. But this guy is just too damn troubled. There we go, a hockey career ruined. And he's only 23... With probably 10 years behind bars...

This is one of the worst playoffs in the history of NHL. Too many shutouts. Worst officiating ever. Horrible play even... In NO WAY comparable to last year's playoffs.
