Lucky? That's a HUGE statement you're making, and I hope you have some good arguments to back that statement up.

Last time I checked, the Devils reaching the final wasn't exactly called a Cinderella story, unlike the Ducks'.... The Devils have reached the playoffs every single year for the past 15+ years, with the exception of '96. They have a great record.

And Martin Brodeur has been nominated for the Vezina and Hart. And Scott Niedermayer for the Norris. AND John Madden for Selke. That's 4 nominations for our team for a total of 7 awards/trophies. And we didn't have all that great a year. Now THAT is great hockey. Now watch the Leafs fans whine about this.

Iginla for Hart. Madden for Selke. Kiprusoff for Vezina. Great hockey.

The Devils probably have been either the best, or close to the best, team in the NHL the past decade. I'll give them that. They still got owned by the Flyers.

Brodeur didn't deserve the Hart nomination. I'm not even too sure about the Vezina. Mais bon, your reputation pays off sometimes I guess.

Yes, you're right. We got our *sses handed to us by the Flyers. Losing is not a shame. Refusing to admit defeat (like Leafs) is a shame. It's a sport. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

Kiprusoff deserves the Vezina. Brodeur doesn't deserve either of the two trophies. But the nominations were sealed before the playoffs, and Marty wasn't great PARTICULARLY in the playoffs, so I don't know...

Go Flames go!! (close to the idea of "Devils") haha.

i had an exam monday night during most of the habs' game 7, during which i was receiving the score thru text messaging!!

the funniest thing: as i was driving to my buddy's place after my exam to catch the end of the game, the dude on the radio CJAD 800 says "i dont know how much longer the batteries are gonna last for the canadiens, they seem to all have their heads down on the bench...." & then 15 seconds later, ZEDNIK SCORES!!!! hahaha i just felt like calling CJAD & saying "fackkaa youuuu!!!!" lolll

                anyways.....

go flames.. too bad they had to eliminate a fellow canadian team, but thats the way the world turns i guess....

screw the leafs... i dont even think of them as a canadian team & i hate them. i wish the sens had gotten rid of them, but that wasnt likely.

                & most importantly..

                GOOO HABBBSSS GOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

whats gonna happen is, we're gonna beat tampa in 6.. then we're gonna beat philly, cuz hopefully they can take care of toronto for us... if not, i guess we'll have to destroy the leafs ourselves... & then we're gonna go to the finals & bring the cup back home!!!!

habs in 6 vs tampa, i stand by... the rest is a combination of guessing & hoping

Unless Leafs get by Philly, which would be tragic to say the least.
