How does the Olympics work really? I mean, like how do countries get more funding for Olympics and stuff? There must be a way for all these Armenians to play for Armenian. Also my mom mentioned something but I don't know how true it is.. she said that the Olympic counsel recently passed an option saying that if you're from a country other than your cultural decent, but want to play for them instead, you can. I don't know how true that is, coming from the same woman who told me yesterday that John Travolta and Tom Cruise are gay

LOOOOOOL!!!!!
Funding comes from government usually. I think the Olympics have kind of lost its meaning because countries like the USA, France, yevayln will just buy the best athletes of poorer countries.
As for Armenia, any Armenian wishing to compete for Armenia can do so very easily. En plus, if you get the gold, you'll earn a nice little 40 000 dollar present from the government. Silver is worth 30 000, while bronze will get you 20 000.

Well, doesn't all this have to do with your citizenship? I mean, if you're a US citizen, shouldn't you compete for the US? Anyway, I'm def. not sure here. But maybe you could get dual citizenship and compete for the country of your choice.
