I typed up a religion section for Urartu on Wikipedia, as well as adding and correcting existing pages for Urartian gods. I'd like to expand upon it, but most of the books i have on Urartu focus more on the history and politics, rather than religion, and what little is mentioned, I already put in. I'm sure i have more books to use as sources, but they are buried away somewhere, and it could be days before I find them.
What I'm looking for is more info on the god's I have, on there, and the rest of the 79 deities listed on the Mheri-Dur, or Meher-Tur (the Gate of Mhera) inscription, found near van.
I'd also appreciate an abundant source on the Mheri-Dur/Meher-Tur inscription, as well as the city of Musasir and it's temple, I already have some info, but alot of these books range from the 60's to 90's and i was wondering if there was anything recent.
So if you could provide me with links, to any credible sources (armeniahighland is not a credible source) it'd be appreciated.
And fyi , i found several sites which compare urartian words with turkic languages, claiming that they are of the same or related language families. Whether that's entirely true or not, I know Armenian has many Urartian root words and was wondering if there was anywhere that showed the relations between the two
