Armenist-Aryanist
HyeJinx1984,Originally posted by HyeJinx1984I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get information on the ancient Armenian tribes? I tried Yahoo and Google but it seems typing in the word 'Armenian' almost always just brings you info on the Genocide... which is fine, but annoying when you wanna learn about something ELSE. Anyway... any books or such you guys suggest? Most interested in learning about the ancient Armenian cultures, languages, names of the tribes, the regions they were in, etc... any info I can get on the tribes would be great.
Try this http://www.geocities.com/armenism.
May be that's what you was looking for.

Don't get hissy with me. In either case, I can't read it.. atleast not at this point, although I am currently inrolled in an Armenian reading/writing class, and according to the teacher I'm picking it up faster than anyone he's ever seen. In two months time I could probably read all that.Originally posted by ravingerYeah,

Try going to search.com. It can be better than yahoo and google.
Here's a site I found from it by typing in "Armenian tribes. http://www.un.int/armenia/arm/en_history.html
When I typed in "Armenian tirbes" in google, your thread popped up.
I see...
