There are many muslim armenians who are interested in connecting with the rest of us but thanks to people like u they stay in a nomans land caught between those who enslave them and those who reject them.
Oh there are? The ones that are serious about reconnecting first off covert back to Christianity. For example, just a few weeks ago several "hidden Armenians" in Turkey converted to Christianity in an Armenian Church that was opened in the East.
'Muslim Armenian' is an anomaly - that identity simply doesn't exist and it shouldn't exist. Any Armenian that turned into a Muslim turned into a Turk. Not to mention the fact that such "Muslim Armenians" could pose a threat to our national security - Turkey could their common faith to make them infiltrate our country and one would question if their allegiance is to Islam/Allah first or to Armenia.
The main problem with this article is that it says "Muslim Armenian". Why? Why isn't the person labelled "Muslim Tatar"? I'm sure the father had to convert to Islam in order to marry the Tatar woman also.
Youngsters who come from otherwise strong Armenian families get attracted to Odar language mannerism,
communicate with each other in the language of the host country,
find Odar culture more attractive and worse of all find odar partners more desirable and
ultimately odar spouse to build semi Armenian family where the off springs are under unnecessary identity pressure as well as a choice,
usually the host countries identity wins in the long term.
Unless you meant some thing else your statement is absolute bull.
I wouldn't say that's true in every case. Yes, other cultures can be interesting and worth to look at, but that doesn't mean they are attractive to every person or its enough for the person to leave the culture they grew up with. I too find other cultures interesting, but that doesn't in any way make be distance my self from my Armenian culture.
Nobody stops them learning Armenian language, finding out about Armenian History, enjoying Armenian culture or cuisine for that matter.
Also consider the Armenian religion as part of Armenian identity.
To avoid misunderstanding I was referring to Armenians.
Of coarse the reality is their predicament is the result of the fascist policies of the Turkish state in the first place.
I am presuming reference was to Hamshen Armenians.
Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests
My main problem with Armenian muslims is that in a lot of places, when they are bowing down towards Mecca to pray, they are sticking their ass up towards Yerevan. And that's just not cool

Except there aren't any Muslim Armenians. You either Muslim and not Armenian or Armenian and not Muslim.

Armenia converts aren't accepted let alone respected and often collaborators, such as this cleric get their comeuppance in the end. If you play with fire you get burned.
