Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

      Vladimir Stupishin

Dr. Vladimir Stupishin (Ph.D. in History, Ph.D. in Law) is the former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia. Dr. V. Stupishin is a long-time supporter of self-determination rights of the people of Nagorno - Karabakh Republic. He is also a resolute advocate for a strategic alliance between Armenia and Russia.

During the period of 1992-1994, Dr. V. Stupishin was the first Russian Ambassador to then newly independent Republic of Armenia. In November, 1992 he was sent to Armenia to establish a permanent Russian embassy in Yerevan. Those were most difficult days for Armenia, which was struggling to survive in the blockade inflicted by Turkey and Azerbaijan.

While leaving Armenia to return to Russia in 1994 Dr. Stupishin promised not to forget the people of Armenia and Karabakh. "I will not betray you, no matter what," he said then.

That was not just a lip service. Now retired from the diplomatic service, Vladimir Stupishin continues his diplomatic efforts in media, actively protecting the natural rights of any nation for self-determination up to the creation of an independent state.

In September 1997 he visited Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR) again as an independent observer of local presidential elections.

Dr. V. Stupishin was awarded a medal of "Gratitude" for his valuable services to NKR, including scientific substantiation of the self-determination rights of the Karabakh people, for his valuable contribution in publicizing the Artsakh issue and demanding its just resolution.

Recently Dr. Stupishin published his memoirs about the time he was the Russian Ambassador in Armenia with lots of insider information on the political situation in Armenia, armenian-azerbaijani conflict and Karabakh war in the early 1990s.

This is just my opinion: I believe, ever since the Armenians chose the path of an independent NKR instead of returning the Artsakh province to motherland Armenia (almost half of which is still under illegal “Azeri” occupation), they got themselves into deep shit.

While we shouldn't give up the right of self-determination argument, we have to let the “Azeri” garbage know that they have nothing, not a single thing, as far as territorial integrity is concerned.

The “Azeri” filth think fake “Azerbaijan” is the only country that can talk about territorial integrity, what territorial integrity? Where is the internationally recognized document that confirms the existence of an “Azerbaijan” north of the Arax as a subject of international law before 1991? Where is the legal document that shows the borders of a state called “Azerbaijan” north of the Arax River? According to which legal document can stolen and abused Nakhijevan be considered part of fake “Azerbaijan”? Even the illegal Moscow/Kars “treaty” that was imposed on Bolshevik occupied Armenia as a result of a bestial orgy between the Jew-Tatar Lenin and doenmeh Jew Kemal just puts Nakhijevan under the “protectorate” of fake “Azerbaijan”, not part of the bogus nonentity that draws maps with Nakhijevan (and liberated parts of Artsakh) as part of it as if nothing's wrong.

Let them present a single valid document that shows that Artsakh (and Nakhijevan for that matter) has ever been part of an independent fake “Azerbaijan”. When this fictitious “country” was being counterfeited by the Ottomans on Armenian territory in 1918 to prevent Armenia from establishing its independence after 543 years on territories that were not under Ottoman Tyranny, it did not have any territorial integrity. It was for this very reason, i.e. the lack of defined borders and the dispute of this artificially concocted two year old monster with its ancient neighbors over territory that caused the League of Nations to reject fake “Azerbaijan’s” bid to join, therefore, resulting into its non-recognition as a subject of international law before the fall of the USSR in 1991.

I think slowly but surely the Armenians have to raise the issue of the territorial integrity of Armenia, including the Wilsonian arbitration, to put a sock in the filthy muzzles of Turk parasites.
A country named Azerbaijan north of the Arax River NEVER existed before 1918
A nation called "Azeri" NEVER existed throughout human history

          Blast hits Azerbaijan mosque

Two people have been killed and up to eight others wounded in a grenade attack on a mosque in Azerbaijan's capital of Baku.

Police said a hand grenade was thrown into the mosque during evening prayers on Sunday.

More than 100 worshippers had gathered in the Abu-Bekr mosque for evening prayers when the explosion occured, an official said.

Ehsan Zahidov, an interior ministry spokesman, said seven or eight people were hospitalised after the blast.

Azerbaijan's population are mostly Muslim, but the government of the former Soviet republic is secular.

The mosque's name is Abu Bakr. The "Azeri" garbage is Shiite as a result of the Iranian influence, therefore, they'll never name their mosques or offspring after Abu Bakr or Omar. This is a Sunni mosque and was frequented by Wahabis. It's nothing more than Shiite/Sunni feud or maybe an anti-Wahabi act.

Whatever historical context you put groups of people into, their very existence validates their ancestry. The creation of nationalism would be difficult without a shared culture or set of beliefs. Thus in the end Azerbaijan's existence is in fact a justification of its own national identity no matter how it was created. Calling it fake does not contribute much to any kind of debate that is progressive. You gotta deal with realities not their origins e.g. the existence of a Karabakh independent of Azerbaijan no matter how much they would like to deny it. Either way whatever floats your boat I guess, just seems a lot of effort to 'prove' something everybody already knew.

Fake Rolex exists, so does fake Cartier, so do fake dollars, euros, etc. In fact I happen to have a fake Samsung remote right in front of me and when I hold it in my hand I can assure you it exists! More than that: it works. More than that it is possible that it will work longer than the original, nevertheless, a fake is a fake.

The fabricated nonentity that stole its name from the northwest province of Iran is fake (regardless I call it so), because there already exists a region called Azarbaijan (the real, Atrpatakan), named after Atrpat (Atropat) 2300 years ago, more than 2200 years before fake “Azerbaijan” was counterfeited on Armenian territory in 1918 for pan-Turkist, genocidal purposes.

For an omniscient sage of your standing, you are too kind and humble that you assume everybody knows what all the historians and geographers of antiquity from Herodotus to Polibi and Strabo to Ptolemy, Pliny, Plutarch, Arrian, etc., have written about the region as well as all the works of Islamic historians and geographers from Baladhuri, Ya’qubi, Tabari, Massoudi to Ibn Hawqal and Muqaddasi, etc., that deal with the same subject -to mention just one aspect of my exposé.

I did this for the common lay people who may not even have heard of all these guys (like myself some years ago) so that they'll know how fake, fake “Azerbaijan” actually is and how worthless and baseless their claims to the universe are. It is expected of a progressive, all knowing wonder of your caliber to have the magnanimity, in case of a stomach problem, to put a cork in it.

Qudrat Hasanquliyev: "Azerbaijan should change its name"
                    15 September 2008 [18:04] - Today.Az
"Azerbaijan should change its name for North Azerbaijan, which corresponds to the reality", said chairman of the United Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan Qudrat Hasanquliyev.

He said this demand complies with the first article of his election platform.

"We can not speak of the united Azerbaijan, as it is not like that. If we change the name of our country for North Azerbaijan, it would signal that there is also South Azerbaijan.

Moreover, we would inform the world about the historical truth of our country. I think it is a responsible and decisive step for us, including for the territorial integrity. In case we win the presidential elections, we will take all actions for this idea to come true, for our party is called "United Azerbaijan" not by accident".
