Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!


2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

    19-year-old soldier of the regiment 549 of the Armenia army Karen
    Arturyunyan crossed border to Azerbaijan on July 15 in the area of
    the Gadabay region due to torture in the Armenian army.
    Armenia hasnt reported anything about this so im actually starting to doubt a soldier crossed the border. They probably got the name of someone who works in the defense ministry and posted this. its not reliable news when the enemy is the only one posting. its just like the zori balayan book. they took his name, they created a book, they even put a publishers name and date of publication. to bad the book doesnt even exist. im gonna wait until Armenia responds to believe this.
    Remember 99% of azeri news is anti-Armenian, the other 1% is about azerbaijan.

      This has been running for three days.
      Why not deny the report and that is the end of that.
      Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
      Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
      Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

        Unfortunately, cases of hazing are still present within the Armenian army and I do not doubt this traitor crossed the border. The point is of the way the Azeris manipulate and use them as propaganda. Under severe psychological pressure and possible fabrication, these possible traitors are made to bash Armenia, reject citizenship, talk about poverty and hunger etc.

        Armenia, as we have witnessed, has done nothing yet to quash these allegations and to provide the proper counter-propaganda. We all know how much more corrupt the Azerbaijani military is. A few weeks/months ago for example, videos of hazing were released to YouTube. What did Armenia do to take advantage of this? Absolutely nothing.

        Having said this, shame on the officers who mistreat the new recruits in Armenia. This is a major problem that needs to be taken care of ASAP, especially in the coming years where we will have a shortage of recruits due to the 94-98 generation becoming 18. Doing your service should be done with pleasure and joy to be able to serve the motherland instead of people doing anything to avoid it.

          Armenia by not responding is taking the higher road. its as if there trying to show the rest of the world that while azerbaijan is run by juveniles Armenia is run by adults. im against taking the high road when azerbaijan keeps throwing low blows. i really do hope Armenia begins throwing counter attacks and knocks the xxxx out of azerbaijan and there propaganda machine. Maybe then they will come to there senses and stop running there mouths.

            Too damn right.
            The President as Commander in Chief should come down on this problem like a ton of bricks. It should be dealt with within his office.
            No delegation or "write me a report".

            I remember when I took my kid to school the first thing the headmistress warned everybody with was I DO NOT TOLERATE BULLYING. Both pupils as well as parents knew the ground rules from day one.

            Surely within a military establishment this should be "easier" to apply if discipline exists.

              There were much more cases of azeris deserting because of unbearable treatment in azeri army, armenian side just feed them and returns them back to azerbajan, sometimes forced, because they don’t want to go back...

                When the azeris desert the azeri news acts fast claiming Armenia captured there soldiers. When the azeris capture our soldiers and claim they deserted Armenia stays quiet. But when we do capture azeris they dont want to go back to azerbaijan, we have to send them to a third country.

                  I am sure there is some truth in what you say.

                  But why do we have to use as reference the "shining" example of Azerbaijan.

                    The Armenian authorities are very complacet and lazy with regards to public relations. They should share the blame. If they made even a minor effort, they could make the Azeri authorities/institutions look like fools.

                      Well I am not sure the Armenian authorities are lazy.

                      If a journals wrote a too uncomplimentary piece about the authorities there would
                      not be any problem sending couple of thugs to kick the shxt out of him.

                      When the Azerbaijanis say just as uncomplimentary things not a mouse squeak.

                      And lets remember this is meant to be one of the most efficient armies in the CIS.
