Potentially worriesome development. The French-Armenian lobby has been among the most successful in the world and if this ethnic Armenian becomes the mouthpiece of the Turkish denialist machine, we're gonna have some sh!t to mop up.

I guess his parents are 1915, Armenian origin, orphans who had been raised in Turkish military dormitory with mission: hate Armenians and their culture. This creature is dangerous, because he doesn’t know himself and his properly taught origin.

Never mind...In my view it was a ploy for Turks to look good for EU, however this guy seems to be very smart and talented

Հայազգի տնտեսագետ Տարոն Աջեմօղլուն մերժել է Թուրքիայի արտգործնախարար Ահմեթ Դավութօղլուի՝ Փարիզում Տնտեսական համագործակցության և զարգացման կազմակերպությունում (OECD) Թուրքիայի մշտական ներկայացուցիչ նշանակվելու առաջարկը։ Այս մասին, ինչպես գրում է թուրքական ĞՀյուրրիյեթğ (Hurriyet) օրաթերթը, հայտարարել է Թուրքիայի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը։

ĞԵս իմ կարիերայի հետ կապված որոշ ծրագրեր ունեմ, որոնց ավարտից հետո միայն հնարավոր կլինի մտածել հետագա անելիքների մասինğ,- Աջեմօղլուի՝ Դավութօղլուին ասած խոսքերը մեջբերում է ĞՀյուրրիյեթըğ՝ ընդգծելով, որ հայազգի տնտեսագետը այդպիսով չընդունեց ամիսներ առաջ իրեն արված առաջարկը։

Դավութօղլուն հաստատել է այս տեղեկությունը՝ նշելով. ĞՆա ասաց, որ հետագայում հնարավոր է՝ խորհի արված առաջարկի մասինğ։

Թուրքիայի արտգործնախարարը հայտարարել է նաև, որ Աջեմօղլուի նշանակման առնչությամբ խորհրդակցել է Թուրքիայի նախագահ Աբդուլլահ Գյուլի և վարչապետ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի հետ։

Նշենք, որ երեկ որոշ լրատվամիջոցների կողմից լուրեր էին շրջանառվում այն մասին, որ Անկարան պատրաստվում է Փարիզում Թուրքիայի դեսպան նշանակել Տարոն Աջեմօղլուին։ Սակայն որոշ ժամանակ անց պարզ դարձավ, որ խոսքը ոչ թե դեսպանի, այլ Տնտեսական համագործակցության և զարգացման կազմակերպությունում (OECD) Թուրքիայի մշտական ներկայացուցչի պաշտոնի մասին է։

Անկարան մեծ հետաքրքրություն է ցուցաբերում Միացյալ Նահանգներում բնակվող պոլսահայ տնտեսագետ Աջեմօղլուի նկատմամբ և ցանկանում է, որպեսզի նա կարևոր դերակատարություն ստանձնի Թուրքիայի տնտեսության մեջ։
Տարոն Աջեմօղլուն ծնվել է 1967թ. Ստամբուլում: 1986թ. ավարտել է Գալաթասարայի վարժարանը, որից հետո` Մեծ Բրիտանիայի Յորքի համալսարանի տնտեսագիտության բաժինը, իսկ գիտական աստիճան ստացել է Լոնդոնի տնտեսագիտական համալսարանում, որտեղ և դասավանդել է 1992-1993թթ.: 1993–ից ի վեր դասավանդում է Մասաչուսեթսի համալսարանի տեխնոլոգիական ինստիտուտում:

IDEAS/RePec տնտեսական հետազոտությունների կենտրոնի կազմած աշխարհում ամենաշատ վկայակոչվող 20 տնտեսագետների վարկանշային աղյուսակում Տարոն Աջեմօղլուն զբաղեցնում է 8-րդ տեղը, այն դեպքում, երբ Նոբելյան մրցանակի դափնեկիր պրոֆեսոր Պոլ Կրուգմանն այդ աղյուսակում զբաղեցնում է 13-րդ հորիզոնականը:

Վերջերս Bloomberg հեռուստաալիքը հատուկ թողարկում էր պատրաստել հայազգի տնտեսագետի մասին, որի ժամանակ նշվել է, որ Տարոն Աջեմօղլուն հնարավոր է՝ մոտ ապագայում ստանա Նոբելյան մրցանակ։

Բացի այդ, Տարոն Աջեմօղլուն վերջերս տեղ էր զբաղեցրել ամերիկյան հեղինակավոր Foreign Policy պարբերականի կողմից հրապարակված ĞՀամաշխարհային 100 ինտելեկտուալներիğ (The Top 100 Global Thinkers) ցանկում։

This very bad news......it is back door-in for Turks who spend much effort against a EU country who has a strong Armenian lobby. Damn Turks know their strategy.

Change any spelling of Babek to Babak as they are trying to turkify Persian history favorable to Armenians. More Armenians need to know Persian history, as it favors them. Babak is a very old Persian name - There are no turks in antiquity named Babak.
