I had chance to speak to Permanent Representative of NKR to US Robert Avetisyan (essentially the ambassador), and he says that there are no such ambitions at the moment. It is a shame.
Naxijevan must be liberated also. It's a shame that Naxijevan remains in Azeri hands. It was a big tactical mistake that led those lands to be in their hands. I have also ancestors that come from Naxijevan, so it's very close to my heart. I promised my Grandmother that we would walk from Yerevan to Naxijevan together and see her ancestral village. Because her mother barely escaped from Naxijevan to Yerevan because of the Genocide there. Also Northern Artsakh needs to be liberated also, but that can only come when Azeris mistakenly attack us. Of course such ambitions are officially not on table, but as soon as Karabakh issue is solved maybe they will be.

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman believes introduction of core changes in Armenia’s military draft system possible.
“The current conscription system is based on Soviet mechanisms, which sometimes fail to meet expectations,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan told a press conference in Yerevan.
He noted that many high-ranking military officials may be relieved of their posts as a result of ongoing inspections, citing General Sergei Chalyan’s resignation.
According to the ministry spokesman, military draft mechanisms become tougher year by year.
Mr. Hovhannisyan further refuted linkage between General Chalyan’s resignation to his personal relations with RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, conditioning the fact with the violations recorded in the course of conscription.

Anyone know what changes are going on? What was wrong with the Soviet system anyway?

Crimean Tatars fully support the release of Karabakh from occupation and Azerbaijan's territorial integrity.
Head of the Federation of Crimean Tatars Associations Unver Sel has told the statement to Gun.Az from Ankara.

"The genocide took place in Karabakh with the occupation of Armenia, and international organizations should give legal assessment to this issue, because Azerbaijan's rights have been violated and acts of Armenia in Karabakh are beyond humanism and are acts of vandalism.

Today the rights of Azerbaijan should be fully restored. If war unleashes in the future, Crimean Tatars stand with Azerbaijan, and we support the fair struggle of our fraternal people. If there is a need for fighting, we are ready for that. The day when Azerbaijani will once again restore its glorious history and put Armenia in its place is not far," he underlined.
....WOW....even Turkey is not this assertive. I hope that Sel does not truly speak on behalf of Crimean Tatars.

Is it Crimean Tartars or Crimean azurbijanis.
