Not sure there is much difference in terms of ethnicity. Present day "Azeris referred to themselves as Tatar or Muslim before 1918.

Anyway, he is spokesman of Crimean Tatar association.

It was a joke. Unless I'm mistaken the baboons are publicly vehement about being "azeri" so as to lay some kind of indigenous claim like the simi hominoid lays claim to Hittite or "any" other obscure ancestry to further their ridicules indeginous claims -- think "raven".
This joke has been going around this forum for as long as I've been following it.
Their was never any legitimate question that they are/were Tatars.

Hey everyone, I have a question regarding Armenia's tanks. Most sources state that we have 20 T-80 tanks in addition to the our workhorse T-72 tanks. Is it known what we use the T-80 tanks for? Do we have them spread and mixed in with the T-72s among the various tank groupings stationed throughout Armenian and Artsakhi soil, or do they constitute a single battalion. And do the T-80s serve on the front lines in Artsakh and on the current turkish border, or do they serve some other specialized purpose (such as defending Yerevan or Stepanakert)?

I'm interested to know because Wikipedia describes the T-80 as the Soviet elite tank designed to compliment the more mass produced T-72 tank, not unlike the American F-15 and F-16 fighter planes. And our 20 T-80 tanks are also interesting given that it is currently being reported the azerbaijanis purchased 20 T-90 tanks (the T-90 is based on the T-72).

Thanks in advance if anyone can answer!

                  Sarkis86,

No one that knows this is going to speak, and no one that knows this should speak. Know one thing, however and whatever way the T-80 was supposed to be theoretically used you can bet that we will exceed this expectation! And for the toork a donkey and a T-90 is the same thing, just something to ride!

I agree with Vahram about not informing the enemy. Having said that I'm now going to spill the beans.
We (Armenia ) are going to ram, jam, cram, stuff the T - 80 up the rectle orifice or down the throat ( can't always tell which is which with the toork and or baboon.
Ok there you have it, cats outta the bag.
