Which is hypocritical of the European Union in some respects. It penalizes Belarus and Ukraine for their human rights records and follows through with sanctions against them; but turns a blind eye to the human rights abuses of Azerbaijan, which is a far more brutal regime than Belarus.

The drills aim to form an addition to CSTO’s Collective Rapid Reaction Forces currently listing 20000 people.
