I'm inclined to more or less believe it's accurate or at least in the right direction too. Don't forget that the 1500 casualty figure for Armenians is a TOTAL which means combat + non-combat casualties. The Azerbaijan 4500 number is only those that were not caused by us, meaning non-combat. Considering combat deaths, the Azerbaboon death toll will rise.

Hey on the English Wikipedia state Armenia has operated 45 T-80 tanks since 2008, citing to "Jane's World Armies Armenia, 2011" (not available online). Could that be accurate? I almost yelled out loud in class when I saw it. Yet another amazing feat by Armenia: winning an arms race against the West's oil and gas exporting darling!

Federate: I hope you're correct about that chart. If the figures are accurate, then Defense Minister Ohanyan and the Armenian government have succeeded in their stated goals of combating non-combat deaths in our Armed Forces. There's always room for improvements, but these numbers are an encouraging step in the right direction.

It has a graph so it must be accurate!
Those figures are probably at the very least rounded up or down to the nearest hundred. Some snot-nosed kid could have made up that entire graphic on their Nana's computer. It doesn't even report the sources of the data.

Thanks... *grumble* that was tortured reading for me, but this is just the media source that displayed the graphic. It does not reference the data source. I.e. where did the figures contained within the graphic come from?

Final phase of “Cooperation 2012” military maneuvers kick off in Armenia (PHOTOS)

                    September 19, 2012 | 09:00

The final phase of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Collective Rapid Reaction Force’s (CSTO CRRF) “Cooperation 2012” joint multinational military exercises got underway Wednesday morning. The maneuvers are being conducted on the grounds of Armenia’s MarshalBaghramianMilitaryCollege (PHOTOS).

President Serzh Sargsyan, CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha, Armenia’s and Russia’s defense ministers Seyran Ohanyan and Anatoliy Serdyukov, observers from international organizations, and numerous guests are following the military drills.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the CSTO CRRF “Cooperation 2012” military exercises kicked off in Armenia on September 15. The commander of the joint forces is Major General Kamo Kochunts.

About 2,000 troops from Armenia and other CSTO states are participating in the maneuvers.

During the exercises, which will wrap up Wednesday, the CSTO CRRF units are working out on the use of force and means of collective security in the Caucasus. To note, the commanders of the exercises also held a development and planning of joint operations.

Representatives from the International Committee of the Red Cross likewise are taking part in the maneuvers.
