Russia to ink joint air defense network formation deal with Armenia

        November 7, 2012 - 19:58 AMT
PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the government’s proposal to sign an agreement on formation of common regional air defense network with Kazakhstan.
The project is expected to be ready by the end of 2012.
Russia hopes to complete talks soon with Kazakhstan on establishing a common air defense network by yearend, Russian Deputy Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Pavel Kurachenko said in early July.
An agreement with Kazakhstan would be followed by a similar pact with Armenia, with the network to bear a status of a joint system due to the lack of Russian-Armenian common border.
Joint air defense network creation agreements are planned to be reached with Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

This sounds like a good plan, but wouldn't it mean that Armenia loses control over its air defense systems?

Not necessarily...we'll just have to wait and see the details of the agreement! The Armenian airspace is already protected by enough SAM systems that would ensure Armenia's safety. So what new systems will Russia contribute to the air defense network of Armenia to transform it from a national network into a regional network? (Meaning to transform it from a system that protects Armenia (mainly from Azerbaijan) to a system that protects Russia (from NATO))
IMHO, the system will probably feature a new radar network and S-400s...otherwise it would represent nothing but a fancy name for a pact and a system that already exists.

Examine for a few moments how many S-300’s Armenia has and how many the baboons have. So after two minutes of thought you should have put a few things together.

                A. with all the oil wealth of the baboon Armenia has more complexes
                B. offensive missiles that we can’t even hope to pay for
                C. Artillery!
                D. Tanks!
                E. Laser anti sniper systems
                F. Nameless complexes

Now please examine these things and let me know why and how we have these things without Moscow? I know this is very hard for some of you.

Why is it that we have to give our blood for peacekeeping to prove what? To prove that we are still the Allied ones that they left behind? The ones they forgot! The ones they betrayed! Yet we are so happy with the West and Moscow is the only one that you cry about? So easily forget the 10,000 billion hectares of land that the toorks walk on now with the blessing of the West! Filthy toorks destroyed not just our ancestors but even destroyed their graves and their fathers graves as well.

The shame that the shameless should have, but since the shameless have no shame it only befits them that the shameless are stupid as well. For the stupid are too stupid to know that they should have shame.

                Getze Hayastan!
