Застрелился военнослужащий азербайджанской армии. Инцидент зарегистрирован в "n"-ской военной части Министерства обороны. Солдат азербайджанской армии Зейналов Зейнал Галиб оглу погиб в результате выстрела, произведенного из его табельного автомата.
Заместитель начальника пресс-службы Минобороны Теймур Абдуллаев подтвердил факт. По его словам, в Военной прокуратуре по факту возбуждено уголовное дело, ведется расследование.

Սահմանների պաշտպանության աննկատ համակարգ են մշակել

Հայ մասնագետները մշակել են սահմանի պաշտպանության աննկատ համակարգ, որը հնարավորություն կտա պարզել սահմանին մոտեցող ռազմական տեխնիկան: Այն կարող է գրանցել անգամ սահմանին մոտեցող մարդու քայլերը:

Այդ ամենը հնարավոր է դարձել պարզել շատ զգայուն սենսորների միջոցով: Համակարգի մշակման հեղինակները Ճշգրիտ տվիչներ-սարքավորումներ մշակող և արտադրող PSI ընկերության մի խումբ մասնագետներ են:

Ընկերության հիմնադիրներից, ֆիզմաթ. գիտությունների թեկնածու Վարդան Գևորգյանը 168.am-ի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում ասաց, որ այս ուղղությամբ աշխատանքներ իրենք սկսվել էին դեռևս 4 տարի առաջ, և տարիների ընթացքում համակարգն ավելի է կատարելագործվել:

«Ժամանակի ընթացքում մեր համակարգն ավելի զգայուն է դարձել և կատարելագործվել է, ինչի արդյունքում հնարավոր է դարձել առավել մեծ հեռավորության վրա գրանցել մոտեցող օբյեկտը»,- ասաց Վ. Գևորգյանը՝ նշելով, որ իրենց մշակումն արդեն մի քանի անգամ փորձարկվել է:

«Ստեղծված համակարգի փորձարկումների արդյունքում լուրջ ցուցանիշներ են գրանցվել»,- ասաց Վ. Գևորգյանը՝ նշելով, որ սենսորների զգայությունը տարբեր է՝ կախված հողային մակերևույթից:

Ըստ մեր զրուցակցի՝ սահմանի պաշտպանության աննկատ համակարգի կիրառության մասով ներկայումս բանակցություններ են ընթանում ՀՀ Պաշտպանության նախարարության հետ:

Not really. Artsakh enjoys many advantages by being separated. I used to think uniting the two was the best thing to do but i changed my mind after seeing how much Artsagh benefits by being "independent" of Armenia. Ihope the time will come soon to unite them but it is not now.

One of the founders of Martuni region’s self defense forces, Ohanyan was among the most outstanding commanders in Artsakh liberation war.
Ohanyan had been appointed to a number of command posts since the formation of the Armenian army.

Armenian government and Intel agree to open research center in Yerevan


YEREVAN, December 11. / ARKA /. The Armenian government and Intel Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding to open an Intel research center in Armenia. The document was signed on the sidelines of ArmTech Congress that kicked off December 10 at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the US Ambassador to Armenia, John Heffern, were among the dignitaries and top industry executives attending the event, whose objective is to bring executives from high tech industry; researchers and officials from academia; representatives from the venture capital community and other investors as well as top government officials from the Silicon Valley, Armenia, Europe and other geographic locations to explore the next generation of emerging markets and related technologies in the Silicon Valley and Armenia, and to help setting the next stage of high tech industry development in Armenia.

From the Armenian side the memorandum was signed by the Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan.
The agreement on the opening of an Intel research center in Armenia was reached in early September, following a meeting in Yerevan between Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Intel’s Country Director Cristian Morales.

The center will be a research laboratory working on advanced technology of Intel R & D.
It was the fifth annual ArmTech Congress conceived under the theme of “learning from the past and inventing the future.” -0-
