I'm guessing this is training with the national guard someplace in the US. He has beam sensors on his helmet and a laser attached to his gun.

As far as the heli is concerned it looks stripped not wrecked and been sitting around outside too long (a delirik).....you can see access panels had been removed and all the important components like the drive train (the gear boxes, drive shaft, transmission), engine, main rotor assembly, tail rotor, instrument, even seats ect.. has been taken out to be used as parts on other choppers. btw, there are still good parts left on that heli that can be taken out, rebuilt and be used again like that tail boom if not beyond tolerance (they are very expensive).
