The basic SU-25 does have a nose mounted laser rangefinder but its not optical......regardless they can pack a very good punch and that Gatling gun is something else.
they would be used mostly in close ground support roll since our number of aircraft is low.

The russians are upgrading their SU-25 to SM standard (and some 10 SM3 were delivered to the south recently), because they're recognising the precision-guided weapons are the way to fight today's wars, specially against islamofascists. I'd like to see ours upgraded too, but I wont hold my breath..
That is what we need however they know if we get our hands on a squadron or two of those models we will practically plow a road for our troops to march to Baku.

Yeah. Basically, What the russians are supplying us with is mostly enough to defend and pack a few punches to weaken the enemy, but, in the long run, we don't have the resources(neither enough men), to march to Baku. Not that anyone will do that anyway, it's not a WW3 scenario. It would be great if we could end this once and for all, but, it's not that simple.

I was speaking figuratively.....the reality would be that if we can hold air superiority over our own lands then we could potentially threaten Baku with surprise precision air strikes. Even if we don't run missions over Baku the fact that we could, that in itself is a weapon of terror against the Azeri leadership including their military command center.

We don't need to march to baku. All we need is to bomb and destroy their wealth. Destabilize baku rejim so that other ethnic groups, like Talish, would start their own separatist wars.
And in my opinion this conflict with Artsakh will persist for very very long time because of turkic ambitions.

I’m thinking something new, khachkars, Julfa, and Artsakh! What do these things have in common? Khachkars have been destroyed in Julfa amongst other places. Artsakh was also to be destroyed.

We can never recover what we have lost, what we can do is hang on to what we have and build more. Take a look, these can be manufactured on mass, instead of bare concrete walls. The difference between Armenians of old and us now is that they built great things out of stone and all we have now are remnants of what remains of the old.

We can manufacture these on mass! Instead of bare concrete fortifications our guys can take shelter behind these.

Does anybody know much about Movses Hakobyan? I'm trying to find biographical information on the internet, but do not find much.

Just to note, the khachkars above is a solid 100% concrete copy. This piece was prototype number#3 and 4 copies were manufactured by me! This is 2 1/2 feet tall, 14 inches wide, and almost 3 inches thick.

There is a bigger one measures 5 feet tall, multi depth, can be cast in any thickness. The casting method can include stone aggregate as well as steel rebar or any other type of reinforcement without defacing the Armenian Cross Art! Welcome to combat 2096 Armenia. Just in case someone thought I was kidding!
