Armenia Eyes More Sophisticated Russian Missiles

Armenia is adequately protected by S-300 air-defense systems but may have even more sophisticated Russian surface-to-air missiles deployed on its territory in the near future, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian said late on Tuesday.

This is an old article from 2011. I think that's just hopeful thinking, and the S-400 would be a bit too much to be hoping at this stage. Maybe once Russia inducts the S-500 into their forces, they will export the S-400.

Last year the defense minister said we have no plans of exporting it
Russia's Ministry of Defence will deploy three battalions of S-400 Triumph air defence missile systems in 2012, Russian Air Force Chief of Staff major general Viktor Bondarev confirmed..

Also, the Saudis were reportedly interested in the S-400, but Russia refused and only offered the S-300
Riyadh has reportedly been mulling the purchase of S-300PMU Russian air-defense missile systems and other arms worth as much as $4 billion, possibly as an inducement to Moscow not to supply such advanced weapons to Iran.

This article says that the defense industry in Russia is actually pushing the Russian government to export for their own profits but Russia refuses. So if that would be the only condition pushing exporting, that would definitely leave Armenia out.

I think a more realistic hope right now would be the deployment of them to Russian control on Russia bases in Armenia

In the conflict zone stretching from Syria to Afghanistan lies another war waiting to re-emerge: Nagorno-Karabakh. This dispute is likely to occupy President Obama’s new foreign-policy team whether they want it or not.
Why is Washington's so in love with the toorks?

American diplomats have tried to be evenhanded toward Armenia and Azerbaijan, but U.S. influence on this conflict is, candidly, inadequate. Thus, Washington should encourage a more active Turkish role and welcome collaboration by Russia and Turkey as Caucasian peacemakers.
Why do they keep listening to the Joo instead of knowing that this will never happen. I mean what gives?

              Moscow gives S-300

Washington wants the toorks to do it again

              Moscow gives great support

Washington can't say the G word!

Yet the Joo think tanks do nothing but daydream...LOL

Yes tomorrow this will happen if you bark long enough...NOT!

Say where is that new S-400 again? Oh yes on a Russian base, soon to be transferred, while Washington I mean Tel Yahoodi still smitten with the toorks have funny ideas about air defense...LOL

Let them enjoy the fruits of their labor in Sooria, this will in the end bite the yahoodi in the arse more then anyone. Of course after everyone else suffers, the Joo will scream the loudest!

Any Armenian who thinks Russians or Iranians are like, inherently pro-Armenian (or anti-Turk) are kidding themselves.
