A special envoy of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ramin Mehmanparast, was on a three-day visit to Armenia earlier this week to hold various meetings ...

Several days before that, representatives of the Armenian Defense Ministry repeatedly made statements about amassing of Azerbaijani troops and materiel along the border with Armenia.

Chairman of the Russian State Duma’s Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications Alexei Mitrofanov suddenly spoke about an imminent war in the Karabakh conflict zone. “Preparations are underway for a war... One has to understand that there will be no close contact wars, military facilities will be put down within a few hours with the use of precision weapons,” predicted the Russian lawmaker.

I haven't seen a statement like that from a Russain MP...

Interesting post and article, but why did you omit this section.

It is no secret now that Russia is preparing the ground for introducing Collective Security Treaty Organization troops into Karabakh.
But NATO is also increasing its cooperation with Armenia.
All of a sudden some pro-Russian Armenian experts remembered that since 2005 the United States has had one of its largest embassies in Armenia.
They also claimed that “800 marines are stationed there awaiting combat orders”.
Is their presence help or hindrance?
Is there a synchronisation with the new term Presidential inauguration?
Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.

Moldova to sell weapons package to Armenia

A shipment of weaponry is awaiting delivery to Ukraine and Armenia, 1in.am wrote with reference to Moldovan OMEGA News Agency, a source from the country's Stationery Office told Trend.
According to the source, "after the media sensation over weapon sales and the respective resolution of the parliamentary inquiry commission, the deliveries were suspended and the rest of the weapons were stored at military depots."
The source noted that the Attorney General's Office's verdict that the transaction was "clean" allows the continuation of the dispatch of the remaining weaponry, "which will be made on Prime Minister Filat's order".
"Arms and equipment subject to dispatch are the following: 11 combat vehicles 9P140 equipped with 'Uragan'220-mm MRLs; 27 9P149 'self-propelled launchers of Shturm-S' complex; 1344 C-8 KOM rockets; 219 'Shturm-S' 9M114 guided antitank missiles; one 'Shturm' 9B868 checkout vehicle. All the equipment except over 1.5 thousand C-8 rockets is subject to dispatch for Ukraine. The rockets will be delivered to Armenia," the source concluded.

Партия вооружений ожидает своей отправки в Украину и Армению, пишет 1in.am со ссылкой на молдавское агентство OMEGA.

I doubt that any of this is true. For Russia to introduce CSTO troops to NKR is in direct contradiction to its priority of maintaining the status quo in the region. They can expect a response from Turkey if they do that. Also not sure of any strengthening between NATO-Armenian relations. Finally, the 800 stationed marines at the US Embassy sounds the most far-fetched. Against whom would the combat orders be? Iran? I doubt that Armenia would host such a force with that purpose. Also, Iran would have said something about it at some point if it was true.
