The ones with less kickback are for close to midrange combat purposes. The weapon on previous pages has subsonic flying bullets. I don't know about caliber (seems 9mm ). It is mainly for close range or special forces.
I doubt that they will be very effective around or past 100meters, specially against body armor.

The 7.62X39 has a very curved trajectory that starts dropping off sharply after 300 meters and runs out of steam after about 700 meters. If fired at close range at human body (0 to 200 meters) it will leave a clean hole however beyond that the projectile has a nasty habit of tumbling violently and when it enters flesh it caused much more severe blunt truma.....that wound is less survivable then a clean hole through the lungs for example.

I love that round over all other NATO rounds and even the old 7.62X54r which has the recoil of a kicking horse and it will penetrate even today's armor.

          Armenia-missile system

It is learned from reliable sources, is now one of the enterprises of the Republic of Armenia conducted development work on a new, highly accurate missile system. In the near future the armed forces augmented ultra-precise defense systems of domestic production. "

            The Vintorez and the Val use a 9 x 39 round which is a re-calibered (re-necked) 7.62 x 39.
The round is designed to be subsonic because it will be used in a silenced gun (Supersonic rounds go faster than the sound barrier and create a sonic "boom").
The heavier 9mm bullet has excellent armour penetration. But the heavier bullet has a more curved trajectory reducing effective range, the practical effective range of both guns is max. 300m.
Great weapons for in street to street fighting and for special purposes. On the open battlefield, the SVD Dragunov with 7.62 x 54 is better because of greater effective range (600m+)
