I believe these are the recon/intelligence groups Joseph posts are referenced to, im not sure as there isnt alot of information on Armenian special forces
Can someone list all the existing kinds of Armenian special units?

So I googled it...

And found out that Armenia has one Spetsnaz regiment. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...l_forces_units) Those are the guys who are considered to be Special Forces. Still dont know too much about interior troops, intelligence/recon, etc.
And I think we are not on the same page here lol
When I say intelligence, and I think when they say intelligence...
They dont mean "CIA" or KGB stuff
I think they are referring to groups that go out into the field, conduct some recon, gather intelligence on enemy locations and systems, and probably even lase targets for artillery or CAS
