We have political leaders.
Their silence is deafening.
There is a leadership vacuum.

As usual in the absence of political leaders ( historically) we got religious leaders dabbling in politics.
Without being their fault, since religious leaders have no place in politics, they screw everything up.

It was evident from the interview of the spiritual leader of Gumri .
He was making inaccurate statement of the legal processes.

In the meantime does our President think if he ignores this tragedy it will go away and be forgotten.
Same applies the President Putin.

About the responce from our government.....
They know that according to the SOFA (status of forces agreement) which they have with russians, permyakov have to be tried by a russian military tribunal and carry his sentence in russia.
This SOFA is a common agreement signed between the host country and guest military in regulating crimes and punishment of guest personnel. This is an international form that every nation, includng England, France, Germany and US have had with their foreign bases and host countries. This has allways created a lot of problems between two countries as a lot of times the host countrie's criminal codes and guest countrie's military criminal codes do not match up, or sometimes are at odds.
There are plenty of examples with US-Japan or US-South Korea cases, where US soldiers have commited crimes of murder and rapes and tried and sent to US to carry their sentences despite protests or riots of Japaneese or Korean populations.
One factor dividing US -Japan justice systems for example, is the fact that by US laws a suspect cannot be interrogated without the presence of his lawyer, and he has the right not to answer any question.
In Japanees law, there cannot be any representative of the accused in interrogations, and there cannot be any none answers to investigator's questions. By law the investigators are allowed to implement "coersive methods" in extracting "answers".
In korea, there were massive riotings when a US army solder that killed two girls in a car accident was sent back home and freed when court determined that accident was not his fault.
Interestingely, the same thing happened with a korean soldier in Kirgizistan, when he was sent home after accident investigations which led to public outcry in Kirgizistan.
The only diffrence between those cases and ours is the government actions towards opennes and public awareness of such agreements and righs as signed in frames of SOFA.
If our government has this kind of agreement with russia(it does) and russia will exercise it's right and send permyakov home to be sentenced and incarcereted there, then our government has to have the balls and face, to come out and say "people, this is what we have as agreement and this is what will happen with this idiot and we will work out everything according with agreements".
The russians, on the other hand, should display more initiatives(which russians allways lack) where individual high ranking officials should come out from hiding and communicate their sorrow or apologies for the actions of their own. Instead, like allways, russian officials are hiding behind their descs affraid, suspicious and waiting for a command of a responce from their center. And when they respond, it is full of contradictions and confusions (again, historically a custom).
So, put together responces of both governments(or lack of straightforward skilled proper public responce) and the bitersweet history of our two nations and voila... Speculations and speculations that choke the public. The next scandal and heartbreake is happening which will not help putting end to all around suspicions against one another.
You will see, at the end not only we the Armenians, but Russians too will talk about injustice or betrayal towards them.

Հունվարի 17-ին, ժամը 18:00-ի սահմաններում Նոյեմբերյանի բժշկական կենտրոն է բերվել Տավուշի մարզի սահմանամերձ Ոսկեվան գյուղի բնակիչ, 1994թ. ծնված պայմանագրային զինծառայող Արման Ալիկի Հարությունյանի մարմինը: Այդ մասին հաղորդել է «Առավոտ» թերթի թղթակիցը։

Ռազմինֆոյի հետ զրույցում ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի մամուլի քարտուղար Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը հաստատեց այդ լուրը` հավելելով, որ այժմ էլ հակառակորդը շարունակում է կրակել հայկական դիրքերի ուղղությամբ:

Հավելենք, որ հունվարի 11-ին ադրբեջանական դիվերսիայի հետևանքով զոհվել էր նույն գյուղի խաղաղ բնակիչ, 1935թ. ծնված Սերյոժա Նիկոլի Սարգսյանը:

Հունվարի 17-ի երեկոյան Քարվաճառի տարածքում ավտովթար է եղել, ինչի հետևանքով մահացել է տեղի զորամասերից մեկի սպա Արթուր Վարդևանյանը, վիրավորվել են մայոր Կարեն Սիմոնյանը և ավագ լեյտենանտ Լավրենտ Հակոբյանը: Այս մասին հայտնում է հայաստանյան բլոգներից մեկը:

Ռազմինֆոյի հետ զրույցում լուրը հաստատեց ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի մամուլի քարտուղար Արծրուն Հովհաննիսանը` նշելով, որ Արցախից ստացած տեղեկությունների համաձայն սպաները վթարի են ենթարկվել անձնական մեքենայով: Մեքենան ոլորաններից գլորվել է ձորը:

Վթարի հետևանքով մայոր Արթուր Վարդևանյանը տեղում մահացել է, իսկ մայոր Կարեն Սիմոնյանը տեղափոխվել է Մուրացանի հոսպիտալ, իսկ ավագ լեյտենանտ Լավրենտ Հակոբյանը զորամասի բժշկական կետում է: Այլ մանրամասներ այս պահին հայտնի չեն:
