Not a single civilian is supposed to be armed.thats how a civil war can start quickly. During the war the government already distributs..

The Minister of Defense of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan, on Saturday paid working visits to several military units.

At the units Ohanyan followed the course of military service, inspected the social and living conditions of the servicemen, and watched their military and physical training exercises.

In one of the subdivisions, he inspected the barracks and followed the class on social and state preparedness. The minister also got familiarized with the personnel readiness and the moral and psychological climate, and asked about the soldiers’ knowledge of their duties.

Addressing the officers and soldiers, the defense minister urged them to always carry out their military service consciously and with a great sense of duty, since the combat-readiness of the armed forces is formed by the sum of the individual characteristics of each and every soldier.

Yes but in this case if war breaks out it may be too late for many to arm themselves. I think it is a good idea to arm atleast the border regions taking into account criminal background and mental disorders.

I agree with you bro I don't think Armenians are ready for keeping modern arsenals in their homes. One bad night of drinking or a fight over a girl can start a civil war LOL

Փետրվարի 28-ին՝ ժամը 14:25-ի սահմաններում, ՊԲ հյուսիսարևելյան ուղղությամբ տեղակայված զորամասերից մեկի պահպանության տեղամասի մարտական հենակետերի ուղղությամբ հակառակորդը ձեռնարկել է դիվերսիոն հետախուզական ներթափանցման փորձ։

ՊԲ առաջապահ ստորաբաժանումները ժամանակին նկատել են հակառակորդի հատուկ ջոկատայինների առաջխաղացումը և վերջիններիս կորուստներ պատճառելով, հետ շպրտել ելման դիրքեր։

Ցավոք, ծավալված մարտերի ժամանակ զոհվել են զինծառայողներ, 1979թ. ծնված Արտակ Սեդրակի Աղեկյանը և 1995թ. ծնված Հայկ Գրիգորի Բարոյանը։

This is becoming ridiculous. Why aren't our troops on the front line equipped with night vision scopes, motion detectors and necessary thermal imaging systems? The front line is becoming one of our weakest points...they seriously need to do something about this!

Only 5-6 banks in Armenia reach 30 billion line and they are given time to raise their capital, economist Vilen Khachatryan told the reporters today, stressing that the issue is that there are banks who must add their capital thrice.

“In conditions of current financial difficulties it will lead to the uniting of the banks or more right to say the big ones will swallow the ones with smaller capital and the number of banks will reduce by 5-6,” he said, adding that it will result in weakening of the competition, reduction of the number of employees. The economist said it is not excluded that they will not unite but just close.

Khachatryan also spoke about the financial integration organization which calculates the amount of outflow of illegal capital.
“Statistics for Armenia is presented as of December 2014.
In this report the amount of the illegal capital flow from Armenia during 2002-2012 is said reach 750 million USD.
In 2012 the volume has grown making 1 billion 200 million USD,” he said.
The economist stressed that it is almost impossible for Armenia to avoid capital outflow.
He stressed that only countries with positive trade balance [more export, less import] manage to avoid capital outflow.
“If we too have it we will avoid capital outflow before reaching it we will be condemned to it,” he added.
