Lubawa Armenia wins a contract for 190 thousand USD

      13-02-15

Lubawa Armenia signed a contract for delivery of 3D multi-purpose camouflage nets in value of USD 190 thousand gross

The contract shall be delivered for the Ministry of Defence of Republic of Armenia, which in accordance with the assumed Company's strategy is to be the key recipient of its products. MORA issued a final user certificate on the basis of which Lubawa S.A. shall be able to apply to Security Department of the RP Ministry of Economy for export certificate. On the basis of fabrics and other semi-finished products manufactured and delivered by Polish Lubawa, the final products shall be prepared in Lubawa Armenia factory.

“It shall be around one month before we receive the export certificate, and production in Armenia shall be started in the middle of April. Therefore, delivery of the contract and ready-made camouflage nets to MORA shall take place at the turn of May and June this year” – says Jarosław Ruch, President of the Management Board of Lubawa Armenia.

The contract for delivery of camouflage systems is the first contract signed with MORA this year. Representatives of the Government of the Republic of Armenia declared purchase of, among others, tents, camouflage nets, individual camouflage equipment, bullet-proof vests and helmets, which are to be ordered in 2015.

“Our products were included in budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2015, and the purchase plan was a subject of negotiations held with MORA representatives on 12 December. Therefore, we expect next orders and development of production capacities of our factory in Armenia. We are also planning expansion to neighbouring markets, and we are constantly identifying our potential Clients, for example in Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan” – said Marcin Kubica, Chairman of the Management Board of Lubawa S.A.
