The sides straps simply rip off when they are firing, thats unacceptable. They do have armor plates in the front, but I think that better quality combat vests + a modern flak jacket capable of withstanding ammunition might be alot better than the one plate.
The polish body armor sold by lubawa acts as both a flak vest and a plate carrier. Capable of holding the armor plates Armenia produces, and providing comfy protection in a combat environment.
Or the troops quickly woke up, and just slapped their vests on without adjusting the straps...either way the vests they have suck absolute ass
Here are some Iranian plate carriers that Armenia can purchase, they are used by the IRGC. Purchase them and only use the front pocket, while having the options for other plates on the side and back. Although, Id prefer the polish lubawa flakjacket plate carriers:

It can be designed with variable hardness & toughness. Also can be made relatively light compared to natural stone that is capable of stopping bullets.

Re: Nagorno-Karabagh: Military Balance Between Armenia & Azerbaijan
I have no doubts about the number of deaths Armenian claims to have suffered. With Armenia's free media, you can't just hide 20 deaths as Aliyev's fantasy news reports. Armenia reported specific names, and DOBs. If there were more, there would be widespread media coverage, those families would demand the truth and for their sons to be buried with honors. This isn't Azerbaijan where you can't just sweep those things under the rug. So that's not up for debate.
However, if Armenia claims to have killed 14, We need to see photographs of each and every body remaining. If any are any caught in no mans land, you get evidence of that, and make sure to make recovery as difficult as possible, like they have done to us, so word of it gets out, and it gets covered in the media, so they can't continue they fantasy charade.
Given our budgetary constraints, there is only so much we can spend on gear and equipment, and I believe I military planning is relatively superior. Where we are lacking is the information war. If Azerbaijan is indeed losing soldiers, we need to make it clear, publicize it all around the internet, as to create internal strife that puts pressure on Aliyev to stop treating his soldiers like the lab rats that they've become.

Our thought are with you.
.Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests
