The war is starting soon. The baboons are not spending mountains of cash for weapons they're not gonna use. They're just waiting for a good excuse

Those "mountains of cash" are a drop in the bucket compared to how much money they have. It is hard to comprehend how a huge sum for someone is a small sum for others.

I think the disconnect its here.

Most you guys are thinking defensive only while I think offensive.

They attack start full scale war to take Artsakh back......sure, we will will stop them, and at a cost of many precious Armenian lives and we will start rebuilding Artsakh, puts us back 20 years, and wait for another invasion.

I say we need a respond of our own, we draw new lines in sand with our swords, and we will take much land. But to setup an AA system in conquered territory will not work too well. This is where you need air superiority as our tanks move east.

Armenia’s Defense Ministry delegation leaded by First Deputy Minister David Tonoyan took part in a meeting in the format of the Committee on the Civil Dimension of Security + Armenia in NATO headquarters.

The Armenian delegation presented to the NATO member-states and partners the process of reforms and perspectives. Besides, the progress of implementing the planning and reviewing processes was also discussed. Armenia’s participation in NATO activities was highly appreciated in the field of education, management, transparency, human rights defense in the Armed Forces and democratic control. The significance of cooperation with NATO was also noted.

On the same day a meeting was held with Terry Stamatopoulos, Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy. The matters related to the perspectives of cooperation, as well as international and regional security were discussed at the meeting.

Armenia violates ceasefire with Azerbaijan 575 times in April

Armenia lost 9 servicemen, 10 were wounded during the reporting period

Baku. Agha Jafarli – APA. Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 575 times on the frontline in April.

According to the results of APA’s monitoring based on the reports confirmed by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, Armenian military units used mortars and large-caliber machineguns on the frontline during the reporting period.

The Defense Ministry said that Azerbaijani soldiers and officers inflicted heavy blows on the enemy during clashes on the frontline.

7 servicemen of the Armenian Army were killed, 10 were wounded during the clashes.

Two more soldiers of the enemy died in an accident.

The Azerbaijani Army lost a serviceman last month.

The highest number of ceasefire violations in April was recorded in the Aghdam part of the frontline, with a total of 191 times, followed by Fuzuli (124).

The ceasefire was violated 72 times in Terter, 61 times in Goranboy, 49 times in Khojavand, 36 times in Jabrayil, 10 times in Tovuz, 12 times in Gedebey and twice in Goygol district in April.

The Armenian Army violated ceasefire 11 times in Gazakh and 5 times in Aghstafa district.

Armenian armed units violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 682 times in March.

Armenia owes over $700B to Azerbaijan

The damage caused by Armenia during the years of occupation of Azerbaijani lands amounts to at least $700 billion.
The statement came from member of the working group on assessment of the damage caused to Azerbaijan as a result of the aggressive policy of Armenia Nusret Ibrahimov who spoke to Trend on April 30.

He said that the working group still continues its work to assess the damage inflicted. These figures are minimal so far, said Ibrahimov.

“We have completed nearly 70 percent of the work,” he said. “The damage to historical monuments, natural resources has been evaluated, the damage to environment has been partly calculated.”

Ibrahimov said foreign specialists, who will assist in this work, are expected to arrive in the near future.

A working group of 15 people is operating under the state commission for rehabilitation and reconstruction of Azerbaijan’s territories occupied as a result of military operations and affected in connection with this.

The Azerbaijani presidential administration, the deputy prime minister, the chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, Ali Hasanov, and a number of ministries and committees contribute to the group’s work.

The objective here is to calculate the inflicted damage, with the participation of international organizations and in line with international standards.

The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. As a result of the ensuing war, in 1992 Armenian armed forces occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan, including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven surrounding districts.

The two countries signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994. The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Russia, France and the US are currently holding peace negotiations. Armenia has not yet implemented the UN Security Council's four resolutions on the liberation of the Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding regions

When Azeries try only 5 attempts to bombard insude our borders, while receiving consecutive defeat, they wont continue using thier air force. Only in operations maybe some choppers. Remember 1992 when we got our 1st AA missiles we started the wining race.

The new war will be much different than in 1992.......manpads have limitations and in open plains our advancing tanks will be sitting ducks. Our Airforce must be able to provide protection from enemy aircraft SU-25 tank killer. In the plains there will be a tank battle and that will dictate our advancing soldiers behind the tanks or loss of our tanks..

MANPADs are the best weapon for that job Eddo...SU-25 is always within any MANPAD range and stuff like igla-S can take it out without much issue regarding armor

Armenia sports MT-LBs with Strela-10 launchers. These accompany vehicle convoys and tank sections in destroying enemy aircraft...

SU-25 in reality, isn't a game changer..

MiG-29s is not much of an issue either considering the fact that Armenia also has Osa..

Thats just portable systems...that can move..

SU-25 is a game changer......you think you can setup proper air defense system in conquered territory and bet your tanks on it is hand I fold.

who ever holds the air superiority will win the war. This applies to any war in any country.
