The contrary.. he says that we had the same kind of long ranged missiles but those were from 70's but what we are having now is more modern.

Yes he is referring to the SCUDs...let's not forget we also have Tochka-Us, those are pretty accurate as well.

Regarding the Armenian Russian air defense deal I heard that it will also include new fighter jets and not only new air defense missiles. Our current inventory of air defense missiles will also be upgraded and we're hoping S-400s may be placed in Armenia.

Meanwhile let's all drool on this photo. It shows the airspace we will be able to monitor and control. Btw apologies as i dont know how to post the pic directly

If u take the center of the picture (where the missiles assuming will be settled) is somewhere In Turkey. There's something wrong with the calculations .

The dispute between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the semi-autonomous region of Nagorno-Karabakh, which lies along the southern half of their shared border, is one of several frozen conflicts in the former Soviet Union. Since the end of a six-year war in 1994, Armenia has exercised control over the territory and Russian support has kept Azerbaijan from mounting any viable challenges to retake Nagorno-Karabakh.

However, Russia's increasingly fragile position with the West and Azerbaijan's ability to leverage this change may soon prompt deals on several of the regions adjacent to Nagorno-Karabakh. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov made an unannounced visit to Armenia on Nov. 9 in what some local media have billed as a "secret" trip to discuss Nagorno-Karabakh. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan is being seen as a potential alternative energy supplier to the Europeans, and is using its newfound political clout to lobby Moscow to change its position on Nagorno-Karabakh.

While cultivating a more diplomatic relationship with Russia, Azerbaijan is becoming more aggressive toward Armenia. Military clashes along the border have intensified as Azerbaijan has increased cross-border raids and shootouts. As Azerbaijan grows bolder, it may reach an agreement with Armenia that gives it control of the regions surrounding the breakaway territory. If the diplomatic route fails, Azerbaijan may increase the scale of its military activities.

Several Armenian newspapers ran articles and commentaries framing Lavrov's recent visit to Yerevan as an appeal for Armenia to return to Azerbaijan five out of seven territories adjacent to Nagorno-Karabakh. In exchange, Russia would place its own troops in these territories to guarantee that war would not resume and to convince Azerbaijan to end its economic blockade of Armenia. The Lachin corridor — a key supply route into Nagorno-Karabakh from Armenia proper — would remain in Armenia's control, as would the region of Kalbajar. Azerbaijan, for its part, would end military hostilities and commit itself to peace talks.

Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian has on multiple occasions said that Armenia could accept relinquishing control of Nagorno-Karabakh's adjacent regions as long as a secure land link were maintained and international security guarantees were implemented. However, the reports emerging in local media do not guarantee that Armenia will indeed relinquish control of the regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh. The dispute is still a sensitive political issue in Armenia, where the public feels a strong sense of national ownership over the territory. The last Armenian president to seriously negotiate a change to the status quo, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, was forced to resign by popular demand.

Այնուհետև հատուկ նշանակության ստորաբաժանման մարտիկները ներկայացրին ցուցադրական վարժանքներ՝ զինված հանցախմբի վնասազերծում, հատուկ գործողությունների համալիր, ձեռնամարտի հնարքներ՝ զուգորդված սառը զենքի ու հրազենի կիրառման հետ, ուժային վարժություններ:

Interceptor jets for our air force?

No idea whether they will be under our or Russian control...but i heard about this in one of the reportages. Personally i believe having an airforce is an expense we can't afforf for now. I'd be happier with updated S-300s that can shoot down ballistic missiles if given the choice

Բաց աղբյուրների ուսումնասիրության արդյունքում Ռազմինֆոյին հաջողվել է պարզել Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերի՝ մահացած ևս մեկ զինծառայողի մասին։ Ընդ որում, զինծառայողի մահվան մասին չեն հայտնել ո´չ այդ երկրի ՊՆ-ն , ո´չ էլ ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները։

Ուսումնասիրության արդյունքում հայտնի է դարձել, որ 2015-ի նոյեմբերի 12-ին մահացել է զինված ուժերի ժամկետային զինծառայող, 21-ամյա Նուրլան Քերիմովը (Kərimov Nurlan): Վերջինի մահվան պատճառը, սակայն, դեռևս պարզել չի հաջողվել։

Հայտնի է նաև, որ Քերիմովը զինծառայության է զորակոչվել 2015-ի հուլիսի 22-ին՝ Բեյլագանի շրջանից, նրան զորակոչել են ՊՆ-ի՝ Բարդայում տեղակայված թիվ 051 զորամաս։

2015 թ․ նոյեմբերի 18-ին, ժամը 13.30-ին ադրբեջանական կողմը ԼՂՀ-ին է հանձնել պայմանագրային զինծառայող, շարքային Անդրանիկ Արարատի Գրիգորյանին։

Ղարաբաղյան կողմին Գրիգորյանի հանձնումն իրականացվել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունում ԿԽՄԿ առաքելության միջնորդությամբ՝ Բաշ Քարվենդ բնակավայրի մոտ։

Ազատազրկման ընթացքում, ԿԽՄԿ-ն պարբերաբար այցելել է ռազմագերուն՝ դիտարկելու կալանավորման պայմանները, նրա հետ վերաբերմունքը եւ ապահովելու կապը ընտանիքի հետ: Գործելով որպես չեզոք միջնորդ եւ իր մանդատի համաձայն ԿԽՄԿ-ն աջակցել է այս գործողությանը ելնելով Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների վերադարձի որոշման հիման վրա եւ լիարժեք համագործակցելով բոլոր կողմերի հետ։

Մինչեւ վերադարձը ռազմագերին հավաստիացրել էր ԿԽՄԿ-ի աշխատակիցներին, որ վերադառնում է իր հոժար կամքով։ Հիմնվելով Ժնեւյան կոնվենցիաներով սահմանված իր մանդատին՝ ԿԽՄԿ-ն Ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության հետ կապված տարածաշրջանում գործում է 1992 թ-ից ի վեր։

Հիշեցնենք, որ մարտի 22-ին՝ ժամը 13:50-ի սահմաններում, ՊԲ արեւելյան ուղղությամբ տեղակայված զորամասերից մեկի մարտական դիրքից, զենք-զինամթերքը թողնելով մարտական հենակետում, հակառակորդի կողմն է անցելՊԲ զինծառայող, 1991թ. ծնված շարքային-պայմանագրային Անդրանիկ Արարատի Գրիգորյանը: Հաջորդ օրը ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները, խախտելով միջազգային մարդասիրական իրավունքը, տարածել էին նրա հետ «հարցազրույցը» եւ «սահմանն անցնելու» պահը։ ԼՂՀ ՊԲ-ն դա կեղծիք էր որակել։
