“Kurds are also waiting for our help. If we tell them that we recongnise their independence, the Eastern Anatolia will cease to exist as such. As you know there are already million Kurds and their capital is already known, it is Diyarbakir. In the result, we shall have independent Kurdistan and Great Armenia,” he added.

How about the eu saying you cant deny genocide of jews but it is ok to deny genocide of Armenians? How about time and again USA presidents promising to recognize the genocide while taking our money then repeatedly stabbing us in the back? My comment is about a russian politician using the genocide as a bargaining chip, this is disapoointing because I actually do value our relationship with Russia and would prefer for them to be commited to us 100% instead of when the time is right. Why would you compare Russia's actions to the EU or the US? We have a completely different relationship with them.

Politicizing the Armenian Genocide and making it anything but a memorial/remembrance for a grim event in our history is outrageous. We fight for Genocide recognition, not curbing freedom of speech.
