Just talked to a military analyst from Greece, he's a good friend of mine and extremely pro Armenian.
He says we have some stuff that we need to fix. For example, these three tanks could have survived if we simply used camo netting.
I have to agree with him, it's somewhat mediocre of us to leave these tanks like sitting ducks without camo nets. This might have worked in 1970 when there were no drones, but definitely not today. Same goes for artillery pieces. These tanks were hit from the top by guided munition.

I believe those were hit a direct top hit most likely the herya UAVs

We need to forget this soviet style trenches with dug in stuff thingy. I know it can't be done in a week, and he told me it took the Greek Army 20 years to get rid of their static techniques.
Azeris are getting lots of knowledge from the Turks, which are NATO members. We need to catch up a bit. It wouldn't be hard for us.

Yes, that's what I mentioned in my post. Had we used some camo netting it would have been harder for those drones. It would not cost much, and it would protect a $2M tank. Each tank should have camo netting strapped to it so that it could be used quickly when needed.

I think we need to mine the sheit out of the border. This would make such attacks impossible. The combination of mines and guard dogs should give our side plenty of warning of approaching enemies during the day or night.

Isnt the whole trench system one big sea of mines? Good point about dogs. Not to insult dogs but they could definitely sniff out an Azeri if he approaches.

I am not sure about the 'harder for those drones". We should check if it has magnetic sensors. For a long time I have been saying that Armenia needs to go that route as in light and fast 4x4s and UAVs. The conventional tanks, airplanes are obsolete. Most of the small armed UAV technology can be accomplished with off the shelf components.

Agree. It will take some time as you mentioned. There is so much to learn from this latest offensive
