Agree, it was an immature thing to do to extrapolate from a captured conversation of unkown origin and make an official announcement off of it. 2000 dead is a brigade. We have killed plenty of them to make it clear that they do not have a chance of dislodging us without burning 10s of thousands of souls.

      Interesting, thanks for the correction

Yes, those cowards beheaded corpses to make themselves feel like warriors. Typical Turkish/Muslim/ISIS type behavior. I hope our troops show them no quarter and no mercy.

BAKU, April 8. /TASS/. Russia will continue delivering weapons to Azerbaijan and Armenia as its strategic partners under existing contracts, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said on Friday.

The Russian vice-premier thus responded to a journalists’ request to comment on a statement by the Armenian president that Russia had supplied a large amount of weapons to Azerbaijan and specify if Russia planned to continue these deliveries.

"Everything is done in compliance with the contracts. Both these countries are our strategic partners," Rogozin said.

Rogozin co-chairs on Russia’s behalf the Russian-Azerbaijani bilateral inter-governmental commission. Last time, Rogozin met with the Azerbaijani leadership on March 3. At that time, the sides discussed expanding bilateral cooperation, including military and technical interaction. and participation in import substitution programs, in the first place, in the sphere of agricultural produce.

Azerbaijan is a large partner of Russia on the weapons market. In 2010-2014, Moscow signed contracts with Baku on the delivery of helicopters, anti-aircraft missile systems, tanks and artillery systems.

According to Russian media data, the package of contracts is estimated at $4 billion. Moscow also supplies armaments to Armenia, including armored vehicles, communications, and other military hardware.

Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

We need to focus on three things now on the short term.

                  1) Acquiring advanced ATGMs. Chinese HJ-8 Red Arrow is an excellent choice for a cheap price.
                  2) Focus on getting drones, and jamming shooting theirs. This could be also done with China. Rainbow 4/5 drones are lethal armed drones.
                  3) Focus on protecting our current positions with tires, sand, camo netting.

The drone killing eagles I posted earlier would be a more effective and way cheaper option for us. We need to think out of the box given our difficult position.

I am aware of the drone killing eagles, but I'm not sure they're capable of grabbing larger ones. I'm sure they can take care of the smaller drones.
We can also develop our own drone with nets to catch those of the enemy's. The police in Japan are doing that.
