Չորրորդ իշխանություն թերթը գրում է. «Երեկ ողջ օրն այդպես էլ չհստակեցվեց զինծառայողներից մեկի ճակատագիրը։ Պաշտպանության նախարարի մամլո քարտուղարը դեռ կեսօրին հայտարարեց, որ զինծառայողի ճակատագիրը շարունակում է մնալ անհայտ, և դրա առիթով Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի միջոցով կատարվում են համապատասխան հարցումներ։ «ՉԻ»-ն ուշ երեկոյան կապ հաստատեց Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանի հետ՝ պարզելու՝ նորություններ կա՞ն արդյոք զինծառայողի վերաբերյալ։ Վերջինս մեզ ասաց, որ դեռևս անհայտ է զինվորի ճակատագիրը։ Խոսքը կապիտան, վաշտի հրամանատար Արգիշտի Գաբոյանի մասին է, որն Արթիկի շրջանի Մեծ Մանթաշ գյուղից Է։ Արգիշտին 23 տարեկան է»։

Anything is possible, but, Sevan is a natural fortress. Very hard to do a blitzkrieg there. The whole Tavush terrain is a nightmare for an invading force. Now Ararat valley, that's another game. So they'd have to parachute their airborne forces all over the place, at night, if their airplanes don't get blown to pieces until they reach the border. ( the east border airspace is not that well protected though).

I have a question for Vrej or everyone else who would know really: what's the situation like in the border east of Sevan? How fortified are our positions and how often are there skirmishes and how come we never hear about it? Is it because the terrain is simply too rough? Because the terrain is mountainous in Tavush and yet we have regular fire exchange.

And the main thing I wanted to know: in the case of an all out war on multiple fronts, with nothing off limits, is there any threat of an Azeri invasion with the aim of taking that strip of land, and aiming to establish control over Sevan, given we have no Navy?

You are talking about the Sevan Chain, the section between Vahan village (Garmir distric, last village on road occupied Ardsvashen) and Mt Hinalsar (intersection of Mrav chain and Sevan chain).
We have absolute if not all the dominating positions, and they have no view of Sevan bassain.
Positions are rather well entrenched, and we do have one climatic advantage also valid for Mrav chain. Having the southern slopes, the snow /ice melts first on our side.

If ever they do attack in all out war, they can certainly reach for a short time the shores of lake Sevan on some section.
But it won't make any sense strategically.
The villages down the slope are small ones, populated by refugees from Northern Artsakh/Gartmank. The Vartenis/Shorja road is in very poor state, and Vartenis is a rather big military hub.
Time they sent their photos to Baku, they may be pushed in lake from their back....

Guys, guys guys......I cannot believe we are letting them get away from this stunt they pulled out.......I see no happiness in it, these cut throat animals with war crimes as soon as they get the chance. We must never forget Fascist Graywolfs will always be our mortal enemy. They are too hav to face us in battlefield. They like to go after civilians, young old man women and drag our fighters with rope in front of Ataturk statue, their God.

I've been saying this for years. We need to take the Israeli approach to this. Painful counter-attacks people.

btw, did anybody notice nobody used any tochkas to take out bases, command centers etc? why is that you think?

Ֆոտոլրագրողի տեղեկություններով՝ ադրբեջանական կողմը մտադրություն է ունեցել նաև, որպեսզի դիվերսիոն գործողություններ կատարելով գրոհ ձեռնարկի նաև ջրամբարի վրա, սակայն, շնորհիվ Արցախի և Հայաստանի ոստիկանների, ադրբեջանական կողմը չի կարողացել իր նպատակին հասնել:

Ջրամբարի տարածքում ժամանակակից սպառազինությամբ մեր տղաները հսկում են ողջ հատվածը: Տեղում աշխատանքները ղեկավարում են ՀՀ Ոստիկանության զորքերի 1033 զորամասի հրամանատար, գնդապետ Գուրգեն Գրիգորյանը, տեղակալ, փոխգնդապետ Արմեն Լոքյանը և Արցախի ոստիկանության պետական պահպանության վարչության գումարտակի պետ, գումարտակի թիվ 2 վաշտի հրամանատար, ոստիկանության մայոր Հովհաննես Սարգսյանը:

Ֆոտոլրագրողի հետ զրույցում տղերքն ասում էին. «Առաջին հերթին խոնարհվում ենք այս օրերին մեր սահմանները անառիկ պահած այն հերոս քաջորդիների ծնողների առաջ, ովքեր հանուն Արցախի ու Հայաստանի սահմանների պաշտպանության՝ զոհվեցին մարտի դաշտում՝ ընկնելով հերոսաբար: Մեր շնորհակալական խոսքն ենք ուղղում նաև Արցախի հերոսական ժողովրդին, կամավորականներին, ողջ հայ ժողովրդին, ովքեր օրհասական այս պահին մեկ բռունցք դարձած՝ իրար թև ու թիկունք եղան, ինչի շնորհիվ էլ ազերի թափթփուկները չկարողացան հասնել իրենց նպատակներին:

Մեր ծնողներն ու հարազատներն էլ կհասկանան մեզ, որ մենք այստեղ ենք, որպեսզի անառիկ պահենք ոչ միայն Սարսանգի ջրամբարը, այլ նաև Արցախ աշխարհը»:

Ֆոտոլրագրողի հետ զրույցում Դրմբոնի, Զագլիկի, Ականաբերդի գյուղի բնակիչներն ասում էին. «Մեր սահմանները պահող առյուծ տղերքն Արցախի ու Հայաստանի մեր գործընկերների հետ խրոխտ, դուխով կանգնած են Սարսանգի ջրամբարի պաշտպանության համար ու էն տեսակ են պահում, որ թուրքը ռիսկ չի անի իր սև գործն անի էս հատվածում»:

Ֆոտոլրագրողը հայտնում է նաև, որ Սարսանգի ջրամբարի անվտանգության պահպանմանը մասնակցում են նաև Հայաստանի ոստիկանության կինոլոգիական ծառայությունը՝ հատուկ հետախուզական շներով:

Ֆոտոլրագրողի տեղեկություններով՝ ՀՀ ոստիկանությունը Արցախ է ուղարկել նաև 12 բեռնատար (ֆուռ) ավտոմեքենա՝ բարձված մեծ քանակի հագուստով, սնունդով, դեղորայքով, պահածոներով, սահմանի առաջին գծում իրենց ծառայությունը կատարող զինվորների համար առաջին անհրաժեշտության պարագաներով:

It's usually not a good sign when Levon Ter-Petrosyan re-emerges, I hope he's not advising Sargsyan on anything lest Sargsyan wants to end up like... LTP. LTP is comparing the Azeri attack to the Yom Kippur war where Egypt-Syria surprise attacked Israel and initially made gains only to be pushed back. Egypt-Syria lost that war too but the fact that they even launched the attacks was enough to boost the Egyptian president at home and force negotiations and concessions. Israel ended up giving up the entirety of its territorial gains (the entire Sinai peninsula) in exchange for peace. He says Aliyev is trying to use the same strategy with this attack and that we will have to enter tough negotiations.

Should we also mention that Sadat was assassinated as a traitor for doing what he thought was the right thing. ( More like how he was directed ....).

Also LTP lost the presidency just by talking about it. What would become if he actioned it......
