I'm kind of surprised nothing has happened to these oligarchs all these years.. meaning nobody has taken the law into their own hands.

I think having established diasporas around the world made it easier for Armenians in Armenia to emigrate instead of staying home and revolting. It wouldn't surprise me if there was a color revolution in Armenia had not the one million Armenians depopulated their country.

even though theoretically that makes sense, its not necessarily true
per official government data Georgia's population declined by 800,000 in the past decade alone
