Nagorno-Karabagh: Military Balance Between Armenia & Azerbaijan
He could be lying..I can't verify his info myself.
The advertised capabilities of the PMU2 could also be exaggerated, who am I to act like I know. Another thing to remember is the PMU2 doesn't have to kill the scud. Just an explosion near the missile can knock it off course.

Re: Nagorno-Karabagh: Military Balance Between Armenia & Azerbaijan
Serzh Sargsyan privately confirmed we took back lost ground 3-4 days ago.
“The president said: ‘Why do you keep silent when some politicians, deputies say that things are not going well, that we suffered too many casualties and that military leadership is to blame for that?’” revealed Karakhanian.
“He said that in the last three or four days we have made gains [on the Karabakh Line of Contact] and managed to win back positions [seized by the Azerbaijani army on April 2,]” added the veteran HHK figure. He did not give further details.
President Serzh Sarkisian reportedly threatened to sack more Armenian officials late on Wednesday when he held an emergency meeting with senior members of the ruling Republican Party (HHK) related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Exactly. They might be able to shoot a couple scuds down, but they won't be able to hit every one of them. Another thing to remember is we probably won't strike baku in response to stepanakert being attacked. That will be something held in reserve incase they hit Yerevan.
That's probably right. The math needs to be
Pipelines AND Kirovabad for Stepanakert
Baku and invasion of Nakhichevan for Yerevan
I think these need to be stated well ahead of time, so perhaps the people of Kirovabad can let their government know how they feel about them being shelled because their government decided to attack civilians.
I think your theory of they won't be able to hit all of them is a lot more applicable when talking about Kirovabad, than Baku. And with Kirovabad, you're not limited to missiles. You can just rain down the chinese AR1A rockets, which are supposed to be an upgrade on the Smerch, as well as the Smerch we're about to get.
I would feel a lot better about that Baku deterrent working if we had some more advanced stuff.
Some important distances to keep in mind:
Nakichevan-Yeravan 80km Azerbaijan-Yeravan 95km, 110km most other points Stepanakert-Azerbaijan 25km Kirovabad-Artsakh 40km Baku-Artsakh 270km Pipelines-Artsakh a few km
Add 5-10km from frontlines where weapons are kept
I wish we were dealing with human beings, and with a country with a leader who actually cared about his people, so we didn't have to talk about bombing civilians, but unfortunately, this is our reality. At least we're no longer the poor victims we were in 1992 when Stepanakert was being shelled from above, 2km away.
p.s. I'm don't know what story behind that pipelines running so close to the border is, but thank God for that, and these morons hinging their entire economy-whatever is left of it at this point- on it
