EDIT: Actually, if you take a good look at the newer pictures that you posted, they also all have the star on them. Look on the part of the cap with the red stripe. There is a golden outline, with red inside the golden outline and a golden star inside the red.Last edited by Achemish; 05-29-2016, 12:23 AM.

Re: Nagorno-Karabagh: Military Balance Between Armenia & Azerbaijan
That is not a Red Star. Its just a star. Its a copy of what the Russian Army adopted after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Just the Tsarist sun (or whatever it is) with a star over it. Achemish, the Soviet Army was not regionalised like that. There was no Armenian crest on their uniform. The Soviet Army was a unitary structure, with one formal uniform and dress code.
The same can be found on the Ushankas. Its quite stupid and not very unique. I do believe we should develop our own military dress and tradition. We didn't have much of an opportunity during the First Republic. The uniforms were basically just Russian Army uniforms:Last edited by Lori; 05-29-2016, 01:16 AM.
